Railfan window view of BNSF trackage departing Minot, ND, crossing the Gassman Coulee trestle, and further west on Amtrak's westbound Empire Builder. The ROW is the former Great Northern. This video was taken the morning of May 31, 2017. Note the diamond at Soo Crossing (now CP) where the railroad changes from Central to Mountain time. (This is not the actual time zone boundary!) The slow speed was due to waiting for the freight we subsequently passed clear the single-track trestle.
