I dont know why, but I had this wish since the first time I saw Air Gear, I actually was into Inline Skating in my teens just because I thought that its gonna happen soon xD
i wish air gear wasnt so underrated. it's so unique and awesome cant see why it doesnt have more fans. it's not everyday you see a series about roller blading.
@@Jeremiah15100 air gear is the only shonen that had a anti hero protagonist in a land filled with naruto and goku clones and it's the only show that actually made a character have good bonds and quarrels with his friends apart from the occasional friend save your life hell in the manga in one chapter ikki was literally the villain while kazu was the protagonist
+alec kolb I agree completely. This is an awesome anime and I seriously hope that funimation or whoever is in charge of the dub, finishes dubbing the series.
One of my favorite battle of Air Gear, I wish they transform the rest of the manga into anime. I'm so glad there are still lots of ppl still care about Air Gear :))
swaggerlevel90001 My friends and I were begging for a season 2 from around 2007-2008, and when this came out we didn't even bat an eye. So yes, unnecessary.
The manga was actually really amazing. I really hope they continue air gear some day, the air gear manga was got me started in reading manga. 10/10 would recommend.
@@ronaldherrera191 I loved the first season, but after reading the manga, you see that the anime actually completely butchers the actual sequence of events within the time span it covers, on top of the regular dropping of smaller details and things that's normal for an adaptation. Example, in the anime, Ikki battles the Skull Saders after learning how to ride ATs, twice. One was an Air battle up an alleyway, one was a Dash that involved grinding train power lines. In the manga Ikki only fights the Air battle against them, but it was so early in the series he couldn't actually ride yet and instead just knocked the guy out by taking one of his ATs off, pressing it against the wall, and then kicking it, so that it shot up the wall and smashed him in the face.
Problem is the manga went downhill as Oh Great! ran out of ideas/lost interest which means unless changes are made that are actually for the better the anime will follow it.

Um dos primeiros animes que eu já vi, um dos que eu mais viciei, a historia por si só é livre, eu sinto isso até hoje ao ler todos os mangás q eu tenho guardado aqui, só espero que algum dia eu possa ver o final do mangá animado, até pq foi incrível
Adoro este AMV, enserio me encantó este anime, es una lastima que lo hayan dejado inconcluso U.U ni modo, no queda mas que esperar y tener fe en que algun alma caritativa de Japón se interese y tenga los recursos para continuar esta animacion... mientras tanto a disfrutar de este excelente video y ha extrañar a Cuervo-kun n.n

That makes a lot of sense. As for the fillers, they often use them to delay the series to let the manga get farther ahead and sometimes to try and improve the use of character development. Though I agree completely with the statements above. Not all shows get all the rating they want and will often stop for that reason, even if people elsewhere find it amazing. And the ending they use to tie up the television series do usually suck.
Even after all these years, I'm still praying to the anime gods that there will be a continuation of Air Gear, whether it is another season or more OVAs to finish off where it started.
Back then most anime was based on manga, as opposed to nowdays where there is a shit ton of light novel adaptations. Too bad most of the ln's are so fcking similar to each other, its almost always a generic fantasy world number 54583 but with a slight changes and different gimmick. Where most manga had some creativity to it, like here you have a whole power system and society built around skating xd
Thank you for a decent Air Gear AMV..........it was well put together and it must have been difficult to do with only two episodes. Well done, it is getting hard to find others who make good stuff these days.
No release date yet, the manga just ended a few months ago but i will be keeping up with it, and trust me ill buy it because the money helps support the making of a new air gear anime
animes i only started watching because i saw an awesome amv fairly tail soul eater k project black lagoon tenjou tenge a certain scientific railgun(and all its connected idexs ect) darker than black kampfer nyan koi canaan to say the least, i have not been disappointed with this means of selecting animes. and my next in line to start (also cause of an awesome amv) is gintama
Same here, and when I start watching a really long one and get bored because the plot seems to drag- I just watch another AMV and power through again because I end up loving them
Though I wish they could keep making this Anime series, we are only a few. If we want this series to come together again we need to save up some cash and send it to the creators to be used exclusively for this Anime and this Anime only.
Dark but the guy probably didn't pay attention cuz the fighting scenes at the very begining did happen in the mangas so either the man is trolling or he...he...XDXD he's really blind
sadly no. it's a shame really. the manga produces some of the most amazing fights in manga history and a kickass story. it's a truly an underrated series.
jaden whint yea it really sucks. its seems like these days only animes that bring serious amounts of money like one piece and attack on titan will continue with the manga.
jaden whint with those series theres a greater chance of there being more sequels since they have above average popularity. if only the quality of some animes were equal to the quantity of views and money it has.
