Ray has been planning their escape for six years, and things got out of hand the moment Emma decided to escape with everyone in the house.
OR
Two self-sacrificing boys who wish for the other pair of the Grace Field Trio to live.

A/N2: Actually, come on. You can’t argue that they are not an OT3... I should have just said it’s an OT3 and save the trouble of getting confused myself when I’m watching this orz. XD
A/N: THIS TOOK TOO LONG. I wanted to make a Ray x Emma video for AGES, but other things (like Norman x Emma, and even Mama videos, sigh) came out first. Like with the Norman x Emma video I made, this song would fit more if there were footage of the Time Skip or Goldie Pond Arc, but alas, there aren't, YET, and I didn't want to wait years for enough Ray x Emma footage, so... here it is.
I had to keep reminding myself I'm not making a Norman x Emma, or heck, Norman x Ray video; they have so very little interaction in season 1, which is after all, Emma- and Norman-centric.
ANYWAYS, I hope you enjoy this as well! (Did I tell you I love Ray? XD)

In the beginning I shipped Norman and Emma together because they were close then and liked each other but after he died I got mad then got sad but I continued to watch and read the manga and I kinda ship Ray and Emma now they are getting a lot closer teehee Edit: Okay, I change my mind since I can't make up my mind on who to ship so I'm just gonna go OT3. Like why not they all are happy together and have some wholesome moments, practically like each other so I mean WHY NOT just ship them together.

I can understand shipping Norman and Emma but in the manga Ray and Emma spend so much time together and go through so much together. They literally be each other’s ride or die. Whenever they would go out to do something dangerous for the good of the group it’s always.. “AYITE ME AND MY BOI RAY GON HEAD OUT WE BE BACK!” 😂 The way Ray knows her so well, knows she’s flawed but always trusts her judgement anyway. The way they communicate, work as a team, and find solutions together. Literally everything lol. Overall, badass duo, power couple, top tier dynamic-list goes on..😂

Yes, it’s been brought up before. :D I still stand by that it is Ray’s way of not giving up on Emma, as this was his plan to save Emma and Norman (and take revenge on the farm and Mama) in the first place. :3 Not that any sane person with agree with his choice.

I'm okay with anyone ending up together because I'm torn lmao. Ray and Emma have grown close with each other after all this time, my favorite moments of them is Chapter 123 when Ray said "Make your choice. I will be by your side." I nearly teared up. They both know each other so well and Ray was able to see right away that Emma wasn't okay. Though I do think they're just platonic friends.

-SPOILERS- When I watched the anime I was a diehard NorEmma shipper because they were just so close the whole time and I cried violently when Norman got shipped (first time I cried while watching anime if we don't count Violet Evergarden where I cried every episode :/) but then I read the manga and realised how close Ray and Emma were and somehow I started shipping them and when Norman came back into the picture he just seemed so distant from them and I just couldn't imagine him with Emma anymore (but he is such a precious baby, and it's obvious he likes her in a romantic way), maybe if he was shown more as the soft boi he was NorEmma could stand a chance again, but RayEmma is my OTP now (Also, I really hope that tomorrow's chapter will be a happy one, the babies deserve to be happy)

Kerokerokeroppi it’s undeniable that the three of them share a strong bond with one another, but I am still holding out hope for my ship :D Although I’m more inclined to believe that in the end, the mangaka might leave shipping open, or even that Emma would sacrifice herself instead in the finale... but considering Norman’s... well. (Are you up to date in the manga?) I just really hope that they get to stay together in the end, whether romantically or not. They all deserve to be happy.

@@bettychiu1903 YES, but I come to the GOLDY LAKE narrative arc, when they kindp Emma and take her in a village. But, despite this, I FEEL they two are very attaced to EACH OTHER. In all this time, in my opinion, Ray grew up some feling towards her, and she feel protected when Ray is around.

So I don’t think he even considered it a possibility, only that Norman and Emma means everything to him. I’m really looking forward to the Goldie Pond arc for more footage XD But I do see the appeal of him falling hard when she slapped him. If I had to say, the slapping was more shocking than enlightening (though her near-kiss(not) him would probably mean sth), he probably fell in love on that wall 🤩🤩

Tami Ailen They definitely have. Even with the way things are going for the Lambda group (including “Minerva”), I am still hoping things will turn out alright. I think that’s like the theme, Emma represents the hope of the group and she shines through time and time again... etc. So really, “Don’t give up on me” is applicable for all three of them (or all the kids, I guess) Would be nice to see them grow up... :3. (*≧∀≦*)

I'm guessing you meant the scene with Ray taking a photo? It's from episode 7, when Ray is taking photos of their siblings playing in the fields (which he later gives to Emma as a farewell gift of sorts). The previous scene (with Emma hanging up laundry), is actually from the previous episode, where Emma and Norma were discussion private plans. :D

On the topic of this amv though, I actually wanted to wait to use this song initially. I was reading the manga (later parts of Goldie Pond) at the time when I was hunting for songs, and this just fits them too well, and I just wanted to wait till there are footages of those scenes first before making the amv, but in the end I just couldn’t wait any longer since I’ve been holding off on an Emma x Ray amv and it’s kinda obvious (to my sis anyways) that HE’S THERE IN ALL MY OTHER TPN VIDEOS. As for my opinion I think that these chapters require a more epic, more potent, more militant song ... if you understand what I mean. The song used in this AMV is very beautiful and melancholy, but it does not essentially show the strength, darkness, pain and fighting spirit upon which these chapters are based..... I HAVE A THEORY what if Ray always liked Emma entirely but he knew that Norman liked Emma so he tried to hide it but when Norman got shipped Ray was a lot more caring because he was trying to make his move on Emma ? There I hope this makes sense!
