But they are literally an extension of themselves. A poor pilot would get killed instantly. Mechs just have the armor and firepower any human would want, but in poor hands...... pointless. Food for thought

Salz Meister G-reco should have been longer so we could understand it better but nope I guess they got so use to splitting each series in half and had planned that for G-reco but saw how bad it was doing and said just finish the story in 26 episodes
