I was there as a kid when they were kids, now I'm here as an adult having grown up with them throughout this whole time. I'm glad Naruto was the first anime I ever watched

Their individual story(struggles, personal issues etc.) is already hard enough thus if you imagine their love story that took several years you wouldnt really imagine they'll be together. As someone who watches the Naruto series yes, buy try to imagine being one of the supporting characters & knowing them personally and see their growth, you would understand that they could be meant to be together. That's why their friends and the whole Konoha supported them. Their connection isnt superficial, it's beyond that like emotionally connected which is very rare and it's evident in the whole series. They connect in ways that even Naruto couldnt understand back then but only knew that by the time he could almost lose Hinata. Minato/Kushina love story is indeed great but NaruHina love story would always be special that they deserve a whole movie just for them. ☺️
naruto always thought the first to acknowledge him was sauke in that chunin exam but little did he know hinata acknowledged him before anyone did and was always inspired by him even before he proved his strength in chunin exam

Well that was the authors point lol to make an anime that millennials could grow up and grow old together with the characters. That is why Naruto has a family at the time we as the audience turned from being kids to being adults with our own families now .
The anime is the best; besides the jutsus and hand signs, it teaches us the integrity of life, how to make it better. Unlike another one which has over-extended arms and adds crew wherever he goes. Naruto hits the perfect spot in us.
