I personally wish this season had put more focus on these two. The sibling rivalry could’ve been really intriguing if given the chance to be fleshed out more. I much rather *Sammy* be the main protagonist and *Amy* be the main antagonist, and *they* made it to the final 3 alongside Shawn! Amy had said in her audition tape that since birth, Sammy has (literally) always been 2nd banana to her at everything, so why couldn’t *this* be the opportunity for Sammy to prove to her twin that even *she* can win at something?! I don’t know, sounds a lot better than Dave and Sky’s (already doomed to fail) ‘Will they, Won’t they’ romance and unintentionally mean-spirited humor and drama surrounding this relationship. And don’t get me started on Sugar, they manage to write a character *WORSE* than Courtney! She’s *annoying, rude, conceited, selfish, spoiled and disgusting!* Can I also mention how much I hate Chris this season?! He lost any decency to care after season 1, but this is at his most unlikable (mostly towards Ella and Sammy)!
Ikr the ending for Pahkitew island should’ve been a Twin finale! Sammy wins either way by getting 1st or having made some new friends on the show ( Jasmine, Shawn ) meanwhile Amy loses to her sister or gets her money robbed like Heather did in World tour
I agree with you. I hate Amy and Sugar! They're the worst characters on this show! I personally believe that Amy and Sammy were never meant to be sisters at all. Sammy would be better off without Amy.
they had potential in making sammy n shawn the main protagonists n finalists of the season n amy as the main antagonist. this season would’ve went at least past TDROTI if they added more characters, more episodes (26+). the show obviously tells us who’s with who but at least strategizing more n more actual character interactions n dynamics. this season would’ve been a hit had they made the characters better n put them in the roles that they best suit them.
Honestly they should just combine the pakithew cast with revenge island took out some characters and have between 22-24. Characters like the og season they could have taken season 4-5 to flesh out the new gen characters and then do all stars I hate they have shorten the seasons I wish they would go back to the long format with fewer episodes plot lines feel rushed
Imagine if Sammy actually had someone who tried standing up for her. That was always the case, people always stood up for her. Little Sammy thought nobody cared about her. Amy thought nobody would stand up for the "ugly and weaker" twin. But they were both oh so wrong. Sammy had people who cared about her and people stood up for her, but they were never heard until now. Now their stories are exposed to the public and people can see how they truly are. The Angel, Sammy, and the devil, Amy, had a constant fight until... Sammy won against her and now, she is finally happy and free from Amy.
It would have been much better if we got more of Amy and Samey. ...Or at least Samey. How interesting would it have been if Samey stuck around for longer after her sister was booted? I don't think the arc could have lasted until the finale, but it could ave lasted until halfway or slightly more at least. Then a few things could have happened. 1. She'd become popular, make friends, then her sister would come back and the others would stand up for her alongside her. 2. She'd become corrupted as the show went on, until she became the same as Amy, then the fight would be against two evil sisters, and would probably end with Amy adopting Samey's attitude, completing the reversal. At the very least, what if they put Amy and Samey on opposing teams? Then Samey could find she can get revenge on her twin every so often and grow to love it. This season of the show had the problem of booting off most of the tolerable characters first(except for Shawn and Jasmine) and focusing on the characters who were unbearably rotten and/or stereotypes of stereotypes...

Amy is Heather, but with everything likeable thrown away. She's just an asshole. Heather still did some nice things, under the pile of mean, like being pretty much the only one who understood Leshawna in Action after the "Spa incident", and gave her precious wig to her. She also beat Alejandro in her ending, which was just so well deserved, as seeing him lose after getting 14 of the 19 competitors booted off was just so worth it, to avenge the rest, and get the guy. Amy is a witch. She just blames all Sammy's successes on herself, and all her faults on Sammy. She did not have ANYTHING redeeming. If she was, say, wanted more spotlight and was trying to stir up drama, like season Owen, and Sammy was just unaware, but she explains it later, that would be a lot better.
I really hate how the show handled Sammy. Amy is awful, but at least she gets poisoned and sent away early in Sammy’s place. Sammy is constantly abused by her sister, and even disliked by everyone but Jasmine, and even Jasmine still calls her Samey. If they’d made Sammy more unlikeable, like Amy, that could have worked. But she’s obviously so shy and scared of being hated. She has basically no self-esteem; she’s even nervous talking to Jasmine, who’s nothing but nice and supportive. And, once everyone think Sammy is gone, they talk about how much they disliked her, despite her not doing anything to any of them.
I liked jasmine because she was nice and supportive to Sammy ( not same e screw you amy) I would've done the same if I was there I know what it's like being bullied.
I think the reason why people hated this season was because the sibling rivalry story arc was rushed. It should've been after 6 or 7 eliminations not 2
I think a finale between these siblings would have been way better instead of Shawn and sky, Shawn is a cool character though. As a kid I never looked at how much of a simp Dave was for sky but it really could have been avoided if sky simply said “sorry Dave I’m taken” so Dave wasn’t really in the wrong, it was mostly sky’s fault for his simp.

I’m thinking it’s because Amy is born first and is the older twin of Sammy , and because Sammy is the second twin Amy sees and treats Sammy like a weak person who has a loveless life .

Ew no- all the sane contestants from the previous season would get tired of Amy’s bs so fast and she’d be the new Ezikial. As for Sammy the SANE contestants would use her actual name and hopefully shed get her own arc outside of the amy samey rivalry. Possibly becoming very badass like zoey in that episode of tdroti. I just realized Sammy got (When Amy was still in) She got screentime with ppl other then Amy like Jasmine and Once Shawn. Amy was with Sammy 24/7 Even with that time with Rodney she was with Sammy for a bit and that's cause Sammy had more friends to hang with and Amy the witch had no one yet shes the popular one even RODNEY deserves better then Amy
