I have to admit that I never listen to Christian music . At the same time I do not feel good about putting a label on any music that is good . This morning in the early am hours my wife still sleeping I was tuning across the fm radio dial and heard the last half of this song . Thinking this sounds like Amy Grant . Not sure of the title I went by Better Then A Hallelujah . And here I am . Amy Grants voice just flows with little effort . This song moves you almost touches the soul Amy's voice is outstanding so blessed for carrying a message to all who take time to listen . This song is life .

if this is the one, that divorced her husband, and married another......because she had found her soulmate.....then, according to the Bible, she is living in adultery.....and for her, there will be a judgement....and her influence will lead others into sin......so....as iron is to sharpen iron, we are to encourage one to follow God and confess and abandon all sin, in our lives.....to ignore this is to allow sin to reign in our community.....and that is a big issue....

My heart stopped beating when I was 19 I woke up in heaven , Jesus walked and talked with me I could feel his love and being radiating emense love right through my body and his power and love was passing through everything and everyone in Heaven, there was billions of people living there praising Jesus , Jesus voice was so tender yet it sounded like a river flowing , All my anxity and pain and worries were all gone it was like I was redeemed and new ! All i can say is Heaven is amazing more than human understanding can explain you have to have lived it !

I remember when this song came out. I was a regular christian at church doing what we were supposed to be doing. But I never felt right, even in church. Remember we are saved by His grace not by any score card of how good we can be. We can never be good enough to earn our way or to earn His Love. He Loved us even when we were yet in our sins. He loves us now even when we still sin. But He yet says "Turn from your sin". So don't stop trying and know you are saved through what He finished when He rose from the dead.

I think you're missing the bigger point here. When you know you're loved to the core of your being it comes out of you. It expresses itself outwardly. Seriously, what did Jesus say the greatest commandments were? His love in us and through us is what's supposed to distinguish us from the world. Not policing outward behavior. God is always after our hearts and He's always after a relationship whereas too much of the church, and this is what part of the problem was with the Pharisees when Jesus walked this Earth, is policing outward behavior and only being concerned about that because too much of the church functions like a behavior modification system. It doesn't function like a covenant relationship or a family. Not with God and not with each other. And in so doing it misses the heart, it misses the relationship, and it misses all of the love....The love God has for us, the love we're called to have for ourselves the way God loves us, the love we're called to have for one another, our neighbors and even our enemies like Jesus. None of the fruit of the Spirit is being born because we don't let God into our hearts fully and all the rotten fruits of sin and shame and condemnation and pride and fear and lust and so many other horrible things are what's coming out of the church instead. It's impossible to know that you're loved on the inside and not have it show up outwardly at some point.

This is my favorite song, I played it for my husband when things got tough while he slept. To calm his soul. I also played it for my mother in law before she passed on to a greater life with Jesus. This song reminds me of the love my husband and I shared, We separated for 23 years and reunited. We are both on spiritual journeys in separation again. I listen to the scriptures that state what is, and is not sin. I also read the ones that tell me to love, forgive, and minister to all people. I also listen to the scrptures that tell us to spread the gispel - but I have never seen any scriptures that says WE are to judge, WE are to condemn, WE are to hate. That is for GOD to do, and when WE do it, we are making ourselves as God! We are to correct in LOVE, to ENCOURAGE, and TEACH. God is the one to judge our hearts- not you, not me. God.

Veronica Herrera Miss Veronica,I lost my mother 3 days after my birthday in 2017 Jan.29th.She had lived a long life and I was her caregiver until the end.No matter how long a parent lives we all cherish more time with them,but God decides when to bring his angels home.I know now that her pain is no more and I know and believe I will see her once again in heaven.I hope you find strength to carry on and God bless you and your family!

This is the message I took from this song.... Luke 15:7 "I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." Thank God we have His Word to distinguish the Truth from the lies. Stay strong in your faith guys, and remember to love your enemies even whilst being persecuted.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Pastoral Counselor, this was one of the songs I played during a Loss & Bereavement Group I facilitated years ago. My clients were inspired. (So was I.) During an interview at a radio station, I believe in Nashville, Tenn., Amy mentioned, while she toured, she also worked as a technician, using a new procedure treating people with trauma. If Amy or someone from her circle reads this, please respond to this. I am very interested in this procedure and want more information about it. I am also impressed by what she is doing in the mental health field. This makes me love and appreciate her even more! I have been a fan of hers for 40 years!

This video reminds me of the separation I had with my twin sister at birth, going two different homes. but I was still alive...after told I was Deceased.. felt the lost of this pain for years, like I knew she was always there through my heart, soul. and dreams I had of her...the connection of Twins is very power, with god in mind always.. God revealed the truth in me in the most strongest way possible when no one else would.. GOD IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH AND TEST OF TIME with so much more to offer.. I will always love him forever even when I feel like he stepped away. I am so grateful I know the truth.. thankyou god for giving me my strength from her through you.. this made my whole journey in life all worth finding the truth, with out it I am lost. more on my journey to come that is so truthfully unbelievable through god. he is real

I understand the sentiments of this song but no matter what "Hallelujah" is the greatest praise, as "Hallelujah" means God be praised, it's for who He is. He is always worthy of our praise, on good days and on hard days and yes God does listen to the cry of our heart, our misery. I believe we can't compare what's better or not and there's no need to compare also, as it's the heart that God sees. A suffering person can also choose to praise (Hallelujah) God while reflecting on His character or just choose to cry tears. God appreciates both I believe. Job also said, "God gives, God takes aways, His name be praised". Both "Hallelujah" & cry of our heart to Him are acceptable. I think we should be careful while writing or singing the lyrics.

I love this song, if you get the true meaning of it, You can shout Glory Hallelujahs all day long but if you don't reach down where the spirit is and feel the hurt that is hiding beneath you will be praying on Empty Words, I've seen many of my family and friends lose hope because they did not reach deep down inside of themselves, believing they have to pray and the Lord will answer their prayers... this song saids it all. justLIsten to the Words.

He has deliveered me twice from cancer, He has blessed my children, He changed my Atheist fathers heart before he died, and took my father to heaven in answer to my prayer.
