HQ DVD Rip of the song from the first episode of season two of mighty morphin power rangers. The episode was entitled 'The Song of Guitardo' and the song was performed live onset in front of the camera by Amy herself.
JDF was the only celebrity I cried over . I was a Michael fan but meeting Jason what 2 months before his passing. Then this at the end of once & always…I’m crying again.
@@dantecrossroadMe 2 At first I was a bit mad, because JDF didn‘t want to be in once and always. But then I realized what song it was and it was a realy great sendof
♫ Down the road We never know What life may have in store Winds of change Will rearrange our lives more than before But you'll never stand alone my friend Memories never die In our hearts, they'll always live And never say goodbye ♫ In loving memory of Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger
I bet none of them knew how advance the world would get 29 years after this episode. I sure didn't. Hardly anyone used the internet back then. Phones were used to call not to go online and take pictures. Comparing my life in 94 and 2023 is pretty big. Smart watches are the closest things we have to the communicators. Whenever i use my smart watch to talk to someone I feel like a power ranger.
After seeing this song in Once and Always, I just couldn't help but tear up. RIP Thuy, RIP JDF, you'll always be Rangers in my heart. May the Power protect you...always.
Looked like Tommy turned his head and looked at Trini. According to Netflix this was like the epoisde before the 2 part episode where he would be the green ranger for the last time.
@@multiverse_media2023 I would have been traumatized if JDF died like this when I was a kid. Thuy actually died when I was a junior in high school but didn't find out until a couple years later when me and my friends were talking about power rangers and one of them bought it up.
Who’s here after the reunion episode? Rest in peace to both Thuy who if alive today would have loved to have met her fans and JDF, the greatest ranger of all time and someone who dedicated his life to the franchise
I don’t care what IGN says. The 30th anniversary episode is perfect and I think it was such a good send off to Tommy and Trini. What did they expect?,Also when the Camera zooms on Tommy and Trini…it’s just chills especially when they did that not knowing what’s ahead. They live in my heart❤
Both the imagery and the lyrics playing alongside it evoke the fandom’s imagery of Tommy joining Trini, it isn’t just the camera/editing that makes it feel surreal. In the special they freeze framed it on Trini before fading to black, right after Tommy reaches out to her.
Down the Road is a beautiful song. It hits differently after seeing the end of “Once and Always” 30th anniversary. My sister and I were in tears. Rest easy JDF and Truy Trang. You both made our childhood’s incredible😭😭😭
And to the other actors who were a part of the Power Ranger legacy: Peta Rutter (Udonna), Pua Magasiva (Shane), Alistair Browning (Zenowing), Bruce Allpress (Phant)
No argument, the originals were part of the reason the others had the roles, but no matter what I think the original is deceased or not. Were quite proud of many people later on. I’m proud of them my friend.
And now it’s more bittersweet after the anniversary special. Billy and Zack made their first on screen return since they’ve left. Jason, Tommy, and Kim were limited because the actors didn’t reprise their roles. The special was initially a tribute to Thuy Trang. Then JDF passed away, and even though some were hoping he participated in this special before he passed away, it didn’t happen and we all have to settle for this clip: a touching tribute where we take a final look of the last time the original six members shared a moment, until they parted ways.
@@Alex_Logan22they did, but not many. Once Tommy became the white ranger, you start seeing a bunch of Tommy, Billy, and Kim episodes because ASJ, Thuy, and Walter left somewhere in the middle of production. Though technically their characters were still being mentioned and made subtle appearances through voice actors, reused footage, and silhouettes, their departure came way before the power transfer.
I remember growing up in middle school I was laughed at for being a fan. Now look the rangers. It wasn’t fleeting their now as iconic as ninja turtles. I won’t lie I was REALLY drunk when word got round that Jason might have killed himself. Then once it was confirmed i broke down. He’s the only celebrity I’ve ever cried over. He was a role model & a positive influence. I had the honor of meeting him 2 months before his passing. I’ve met other celebrities but he was so chill & approachable.
@@gal1948 I don't think the 2017 cast's chemistry was bad. It was actually pretty good, one of the shining parts of the movie. The problem is that a good cast with a good chemistry doesn't automatically make a good Power Rangers movie. The suit design was just bad, there were barely any actual Power Rangers action and the movie maybe could have benefitted from having a lighter tone.
Down the road we never know what life may have in store winds of change will rearrange our lives more than before but you'll never stand alone my friend memories never die in our hearts they'll always live and never say - goodbye
I Just got done watching the 30th Anniversary movie of MMPR and saw this scene. RIP Trini and RIP Tommy, Once a Ranger Always a Ranger, Forever and Always. T_T
This song pretty much says everything despite it being only a few seconds, rest in peace to Thuy Trang and JDF, heaven is truly blessed to have two of earth's greatest rangers 🙏🏽
I was 7 years old when mighty morphin came out in France I remember very well that of nostalgia and now I am 34 … rest in peace yellow rangers and green/white rangers 😢 🪦 We will never forget you 💛 🤍 💚 💙 ❤ 🖤 🩷!!
This ending scene of the MMPR season 2 episode The Song of Guitardo was a touching tribute to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank before the end credits rolled in MMPR: Once & Always. R.I.P. Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank! You two will always be remembered as on-screen heroes as Trini Kwan the original Yellow Ranger of MMPR and legendary Ranger Tommy Oliver.
The way I heard that song from Amy Jo Johnson off the road it was one of the best songs I'd ever hear tribute to Jason David Frank and Thuy Trang RIP 💚💛🙏
April 21, 2023 Down the Road always makes me smile but the song has a meaningful impact now. Rest in peace Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank Once a Ranger always a Ranger 💛💚
In Remembrance to... Jason David Frank role as Tommy Oliver / Green Ranger (Born: September 4, 1973 - Died: November 19, 2022) 💚 Thuy Trang role as Trini Kwan / Yellow Ranger (Born: December 14, 1973 - Died: September 3, 2001) 💛
I saw the re-runs, first time since I was five. The 90s where great I loved the shows back then. So recently I sadly heard Richard Grenellie Ernie is gone. I remember Ernie his character being kind and just caring, sad that he is not with us. So I found out Thuy also passed, honestly couldn't believe it. In Once and Always, Trini saved Billy's life, Trini is courageous Ranger, Thuy will never be forgotten amazing personality. I heard Jason David Frank passing last year, just stunned that a person achieved so much and I had not known. Three great individuals taught me lessons from Power Rangers that I will never forget, words can't expressed how missed you are.
This hit hard when JDF passed, it hit even harder after watching once and always. That ending BROKE me. Rip and thank you to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank. 💛💚
Agreed 😢. Nearly bawled when this showed up on the reunion special, but not just because of the passing of the actors who played Trini and Tommy, but just seeing the original group again.
When I first read of the loss of Jason Frank I didn't, wouldn't, believe it😢😢😢, most of all how. The laws of God says he would go one way, but after everything he did for people I hope, pray, God gave him a pardon!
I broke down and cried for days when I heard the tragic news about JDF. At first I was praying to God that this was not real, but when more reports came, I knew this was going to hit the world hard. I will always cherish my memories I had with him when I met him 3 times!
Zordon: This Ranger team did what my team could not. You will humbly walk amongst your peers, but heroes you all will be. Each of your names will be etched alongside the great Ranger teams before you. I will always owe a debt of gratitude to you all.
@@manuelorozco7760 honestly I feel that was normal. I understand he wanted his LOTWD to get views. But for some people X person will always be a certain character. For Jason I know I’ll forever know him as Tommy Oliver regardless of his other roles.
When this played at the end of Once and Always I actually cried. It was like watching Jason David Frank's funeral. Jason, wherever you end up, may the Power protect you. Always. :(
Spoilers for Once and Always so please don't finish reading this comment So glad they used this clip at the end for Tribute for both Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank I legit sobbed RIP to our Fallen Rangers Once a Ranger Always A Ranger!
Open the floodgates, when I watched Once & Always and saw the tribute at the end I doubt anyone had a dry eye. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. RIP Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank
Crazy feels with what happened to some of the actors. Jason Frank trains in martial arts, David Yost walked away for being teased relentlessly, Amy Jo sings now, Thuy Trang died in a car accident, down the road...indeed.
That's what made this show so special to me as a kid! The characters played a key role and sent a strong message! When I meet each one for the 1st time, I always personally give them a personal letter to let them know how much their roles ment to me!
