As we age...seeing so many artists and musicians who have espoused corporatism and capitalism. Thank you for being real, Amy. I needed to hear this. I live in the rural Midwest and it is terribly lonely. Your music invigorates me and helps me keep going knowing I'm not alone.
Heard your interview on npr and this song it pretty much sums up 99% of the way all of us feel however the media wants to keep creating a divide among us by labeling everyone into categories of judgement . great song great message let it go people live your lives create your legacy and history.
This is so beautiful. I can't stop listening to this song and watching this gorgeous video of these people that I am lucky enough to know. We will not stop. It will come down. Thank you, thank you, thank you - Love, Florence
Thank you, Amy, for always standing for what is right! You write the lyrics of how I’m feeling and you make it beautiful with the message. Much love to you! 💖💗💕❤️
I'm related to a German-American Cincinnati man who built statues including some of racists like Nathan Bedford Forrest. Even I say, it's past time for them to go. Time for new artists and new public art in our cities and parks, that don't honor white supremacy. Thanks for this song and video!
Realized these words "tear it down" are what I have to do if I am going to take even one step forward in this life. Cuz if I don't soon I will die right here....
I'm not saying that conservatives hold consistent beliefs, but you'd think celebrating literal traitors would be something even they should be able to recognize as wrong.
