Standup comic-writer-actress Amy Schumer will tell you exactly what's on her mind, even when those words have four letters. Mo Rocca interviews the star of Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer" and the film, "Trainwreck."
I've been following Amy for years now and I absolutely love how much she has blown up. Kinda bittersweet because I can't just selfishly share her jokes with just my friends lol
If you don't like her that fine, I like a lot of comedians. I like her cause the dry humor and way of speaking flat with no emotion. People can enjoy who they want stop fuckin judging. If you don't like her go away it's really not that hard
+Andrew Kim seems like just a difference of personality; she's a person readily capable of being very funny, not a very funny person. Some comedians get their comedy from channeling their neuroticism, arrogance, etc. into the way they talk and live, while others get it from a more extrinsic sense of farce, Schumer being in the latter group. I think there have been greats from either camp and each has its value.
Everything she says from 7:50 to the end is SOO honest and completely relatable. About relationships and about her dad's health impacting her perspective
Trish Page I believe Amy would say, "You're not doing anything wrong - You do You, guurrrl!" And then something, something, alcohol and sex. Because, Amy! ;) I highly recommend watching her sketch show. She's really funny.
"I wish more women had a sense of humor" this is a statement most all female comediennes would condemn and rebuke due to the fact that this misconception has almost blacklisted women in the field of comedy for decades...women in are funny but in the media are seen as delicate, fragile, and feminine which distracts from their true humor and intelligence that women do possess. Just saying.
She is a racist. She came to the store I work in last month. She used the N word towards me. Then was surprised to I was a employee there. Please stop believing in her BS
This is some really real shit from her. She jokes so much, you don't really see her as being serious AT ALL. Thank you for this interview and for putting this up. Worth the watch.
I appreciate a real, open, and honest woman like Amy. I wish more were as tough and smart as her, treating both men and women equally, and accepting their inherent nature and differences. Go Amy!
Amy is a natural beauty. To put it bluntly...she's exquisite. And if that isn't enough you can add highly intelligent, funny, and sexy. I understand that she has recently found someone that she has very strong feelings for and I am sure those feelings are mutual. I wish her the best possible outcome with her new relationship. I think the guy in her life is very...very lucky. Yes... I'm an avid fan of hers. How can you not love this lady!!
Apart from the fact that amy is amazing. I really loved the anchor. I don't know who it is but it seemed like he is literally listening to every word amy is saying and he cares!
She Deserves to "have it all!" And "Train Wreck" is easily one of the best (funniest & sweetest), romcoms*(sorry 4 *that) I've ever seen. ..And I'm a straight male in his 50's -- and Not a feminist, 'cause that "movement" seems irrelevant (esp, in our modern/Western culture.)
"The fear of getting hurt. Most relationships don't end well. At 34, even if you really like someone, there's usually a discovery, deal breaker, and you spend so much time trying to figure out what it is....you create one, will it to happen" Of course this is very true...but at the end of the day....you need to take a chance on love....and give it a chance....keeping in mind that nobody's perfect....it's all about compromise.
''because its an opportunity to be really honest about something that a lot people aren't being open about'' Giirrlll come to the Netherlands haha its all we do xd
Yeah, a lot of Europe seems so much more open in so many ways than the USA. I'm sure I'm plenty wrong in some ways, but I'd like to think it's true. That quote rings so true here in America, tons of people too afraid to embarrass themselves or upset other people. We're too afraid of sex, race, and gender to do anything, let alone even mention it! =p
It's scary what can happen to your marriage when you come down with something like MS. It used to be the strong one took care of the ill one. I know that the marriage vow usually includes illness as one of the things couples vow to stay faithful through. I know too many couples getting divorced over that issue. I feel disappointed in most people.
She says she was "born at Lenox Hill," but doesn't she say that as a joke; i.e., 'cause it's just the hospital where she was delivered? I think she was full-on raised in Long Island.
Weird to see that former daily show reporter prematurely gray and doing a serious interview with some kind of 21st century version of Rosanne Barr. I truly feel like I have stepped into the Twilight Zone.
I love everything about her except one thing... she says "like" way, way too much. But she's so funny, I can overlook it. And she is rocking that meat on her bones. A fabulous zaftig and Rubenesque physique!
