Her ability to play those complex jazz chords, sing beautifully, and stay on time all at once is nothing short of a miracle. She was truly one of a kind.

I really like the fact that here is a safe space with no dumbasses to talk about her struggles or problems, just genuiely loving her, purely and fully, for who she was. We were there, are there and will always be. To anyone reading this who just discovered her, join us, the world is a bit better.

I hate it when u hear people talk about her and the next thing u hear is oh not that druggie it sickens me she was a once in a lifetime artistic there will never be another like her and seeing the amy winehouse statue in london for the first time to then find out its in the middle of nowhere makes me so annoyed that some people don't even remember her she will always be an inspiration to me rip amy

@@louiandrews7 Dw I get you tho I was talking about something completely different actually, the people that say ‘so sad’ like they love her, but to me real amy fans don’t give a fuck like really just do not care about her problems. Sometimes they have an eventual panic attack with tears and sadness but rest of the time ? Just vibin and jammin. This is what a fan is
@torstenscholz6243
@torstenscholz6243 3 года назад
So true. Amy was one of those great talents that was destroyed by life, but also by the gutter press. It's really sad when a great music talent goes down the drain so much that the media and public don't see the great artist anymore but just a joke for the gutter press. It was the same with Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.

What a talent that was taken from us way too early. Just imagine how much more great stuff she would have produced would she still be with us today. But then again, as cynical as it sounds, her tragic fate and early death contributed to her becoming a legend.
@manglik3815
@manglik3815 3 года назад
@@torstenscholz6243 it did contribute to her status, but it didn't make it. Amy was often deemed a living legend while alive, by people who had their ears well estabilished in the golden age of singing. i think, being a legend is all about exclusivity of your talent and the exclusivity of Amy's talent was more widely recognized after her passing, because before, she was stoned for her addiction problems. like when they say, you don't know what you got til it's gone. she's hanging with the greats like Aretha Franklin, Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald... right in their category, and the youngest. she was praised by every legend at the time, like Prince, George Michael, Ronnie Spector, Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder...

The early live performances are all about her soul to ours. It’s all she wanted to do really. I don’t even listen to the produced stuff. Love Is a Losing Game with one of her really musical guitarists breaks my heart. Where did she ‘go’ to when she wrote those words, plucked those chords and sang for all the eternal broken hearts. She was one brave soul.

Wow thank you "mom" , Amy was a true "Artist", this glmpse into her early years is much appreciated, her talent and own unique sound shines through in this set. Only Amy sounds like Amy and she sounds different each time she sings improvising at will. Her short career is no indication of her impact she had on music, artists yet to be born will be inspired by her music .

I can't wait to get away from you Unsurprisingly you hate me too We only communicate when we need to fight But we are best friends right? You're too good at pretending you don't care There's enough resentment in the air Now you don't want me in the flat When you?re home at night But we're best friends right? You're Stephanie and I'm Paulette You know what all my faces mean And it's easy to smoke it up, forget Everything that happened in between Nicky's right when he says I can't win So I don't wanna tell you anything I can't even think about How you feel inside But we are best friends, right? I don't like the way you say my name You're always looking for someone to blame Now you want me to suffer just cause You was born wide But we are best friends right? You're Stephanie and I'm Paulette You know what all my faces mean And its easy to smoke it up, forget Everything that happened in between So I had love for you when I was 4 And there's no one I wanna smoke with more Someday I'll buy the Rizla, so you get the dro 'Cause we are best friends right, right, right, right? Because we are best friends right? Because we are best friends right?

As an amatuer musician, and best friends to a very professional musician by the name of Ron Thompson who passed away earlier this year. Ron was friends with the likes of Mick Fleetwood, BB King. And also some great musicians like Eric Clapton, and former members of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. My point is Amy was in the same league as many of the aforementioned superstars that my friend knew. I've been looking for a video such as this. So I just want to say thank you very much :-) many blessings to you and your family. And to all the peoples of England and God's children wherever they may be. If you know of anyone who is going through any stresses at this time please check out antidote for all on RU-vid. Again thank you very much!
