It sucks that Amy came out as gay because I really liked her and Lucas together this is like the longest interview I've ever seen with the two of them and her holding a phone while she's dressed as her character and it's just weird to see but awesome
Lara Watrous Ka’kwet’s parents probably never got to see her again. It’s unknown what happened to a lot of indigenous children after getting into those schools, but it sure can’t be any good. Also, I think they didn’t want white folks to be her savior as that would be kind of disrespectful towards the history of indigenous people. Still sad that we were left with an open storyline like that though, I agree.
In real life she would have been forced to become a “domestic” like many indigenous girls did in Australia. Anne would not have stopped trying to get contact with her and would remain in contact with her family.
H H a lot of them if they managed to survive, it’s like what happened in Australia. Girls became domestic slaves, boys were forced to become labourers or farm hands. Perhaps she would end up in the home of a cruel city family forced to care for their children at 15 or 16. Any money she earned would go to the government or her local church, she would receive rations instead of money, strict curfew, not allowed to be in the major cities without a permit, etc. this is how it has been in many colonial countries such as Canada, Australia, Brazil, USA, South Africa, etc
@@lolaakin8460 just an observation, I'm not implying anything. They are the actors for the characters after all, the looks between them are bound to be similar as to the ones on the show.
I'm not saying they didn't get along but I know that they seemingly weren't close for a while, probably due to shipping, but it's nice to see them getting along more and that they seem more comfortable around each other
@jayda huntley Yeah, I knew that a lot of people did that because their characters are love interests. I'm glad they didn't let that stop them. It's exactly like Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard. They were close during the filming of ST1 and the promos but during ST2 they weren't as close. I'm glad that Finn and Millie seemed close again during ST3
@jayda huntley I hate it when people do that. I believe in shipping CHARACTERS not PEOPLE when it comes to TV/movies. (I hope that makes sense to everyone.) I love it if the people who portray my OTP are good friends IRL because I love seeing them buddy buddy together. But I will never ship them IRL as their own person. That's too much. Especially if one/both of them are already involved with someone. Way too far. But, I'm glad it seems like Lucas and Amybeth seem to have gotten close as friends and gotten over fans who take it too far. I hope his IRL girlfriend hasn't been too badly affected by it as well. I feel bad for any comments she may have read. :/
The only series i rewatched over and over and over and over ... the characters, the storyline, the emotion, the drama, the love, the music, the scenery, the style of language, the lifestyle, the fashion, the principles and morals, the romance, the relationships, the frjendships, the houses, the EVERYTHING!!!. It's weird how Irish she becomes and how her accent changes, not just because she was changing it. Even though she always sounds Canadian in interviews with a little bit of an Irish twang, this is the most Irish she's sounded

Ok but seriously their friendship with NO Shannon around is just so fricking pure. Ive recently heard something and I am so happyyy. In season 1 Lucas bought Amybeth a carrots necklace (which you see her wearing in some pics) and Amybeth bought Lucas a broken slate necklace (which he also wears in some pics) and she gave him the nickname slate face. When I heard this I SCREAMED and I am still SCREAMING

I think if you search this In to Google or whatever app you have 'lucas and Amybeth necklace' you'll be able to find some pics of them wearing it. I hope to god that these rumours are true 😌
After hearing about Lucas and his gf’s Q+A my heart goes out to Amybeth who seems like such a sweetheart. Lucas seems like he needs to mature enough to learn how to be an actor playing the love interest of another girl while actually being in a relationship outside of that. It doesn’t seem easy, but hundreds of actors do it. He needs to learn to not disrespect his co star online for everyone to see.

This show always had a special place in my heart. Even though I’m sure it won’t happen, I really want a season 4 of this show, like there’s so much more we need to know! Ka’kwet never returned from that awful “school”, what will go on between Diana and Jerry, and what will happen between both Anne and Gilbert after college, and was kinda hoping to see Delphine grow up with her father, grandmother, and her brother. #renewannewithane

Netflix claims it’s budget issues (I’m aware of the drama with cbc) but they are making games on Netflix that basically nobody plays! It’s a streaming service! Not saying it will work but… it didn’t deserve the cancel. It was the best show I’ve ever watched and it had so many unique messages about diversity and femininity and racism… it was truly something else, in the best way possible.
dbr lovestacos he seemed really shady towards her. this is purely based off his tone and facial expressions, first off shannon didn’t do anything wrong. Lucas had a bad attitude most of the video. someone asked who their favourite people on set were and they listed basically every main actor/actress on the show EXCEPT Amybeth, even her stunt double was mentioned. then shannon started asking a question about Amybeth and he started making out with her for a full 40 seconds, it seemed like he was just making a point to everyone that shannon is his girlfriend, not Amybeth which is immature. right after she said “did you know amybeth before shooting awae” and he gave this weird, uninterested, ‘i don’t give a fuck’ facial expression and just said ‘no’. that’s it. after that Shannon brought up ships and when she said shirbert Lucas went on a rant about how ship names are gross and he hates them. honestly just listen to his tone throughout the video, it’s more how he says it, than what he says.

Geee oh yes i agree with you, and I like Shannon and Lucas, i think, i hope they are very kind But Lucas must understand that this is a show business and his life will now always be public. And there are different people, fans, different opinions, someone loves and someone hates, but those who love anyway more. He must learn not to notice them, and does not relate to his business so indifferently as if he did, received a fee and that’s it, it doesn’t work that way. Since you went for it, be kind enough to be responsible for it, since there are so many people who truly love him and his work, and for example, I’m very sorry to see such behavior from him towards what he put a part of his life into and towards their fans. Forgive me for saying this to you, but I just wanted to talk it out
This casting was really great, they have this natural chemistry to get along well which is the single most important thing when acting and especially when playing love interests. Obviously this does not mean that they are or have to be in love or whatever just this makes the relationship feel real on screen and that's what matters.
I am heartbroken that this third season of ANNE is the last. It feels like so many new storylines were set up and now they won't be realized... unless something wonderful happens and the show is somehow brought back by demand.
@@tin460 -- Yes, that story is terribly unresolved -- perhaps Moira Walley-Beckett, the creator of this incredible series, will at least write a follow up of where she would have taken characters if the show had continued. I want to know if Sebastian and Ms Stacy get together, does Cole ever go back to Green Gables as a fully-realized person with nothing to hide, does the boy who defamed Ruby ever get his comeuppance, does Ruby succumb to tuberculosis in the series as she did in the books? I suppose I can read the books again with the new images Anne with an E provided... I'm very grateful for that. Everything I've seen before looked like "Little House On The Tundra."

It's very debated. Some people thought Lucas was being rude for not mentioning Amybeth around his girlfriend. Alice Cheese right. it's his gf, someone who might spend the rest of his life with, so why wouldn't he feel the need to be confident and carefree around his own gf. you can be different around a friend sometimes but if your partner actually accepts you then there's really no need to be tense and different.
First time watching them together Amybeth and Lucas, and i’m not gonna believe when you tell me they are not friends (even if the actors says it). Can you see their body language?! That’s unconscious. It’s hard to fake it. And their body language tells me they are FRIENDS. Not strangers, not lovers as well, but FRIENDS. Oh how i want to see them interacting more.
I don't ship them at all. They don't have the chemistry to date, they have the chemistry to be friends. But I do wish they were closer FRIENDS. But people ship them too hard so that most likely won't happen
Why Lucas acted like what he did: Lucas was told by his girlfriend (assuming) that she didn't like him kissing other girls, such as Amybeth. She was very jealous of Amy, it's pretty obvious. Lucas, has an attraction toward her, and yeah, we all know he does. Shannon (his girlfriend) was SUPER jealous and didn't want him to leave her. So Lucas, wanting to make his girlfriend feel happy about herself, and trying to make Amybeth out of the picture so she wouldn't have to worry. That's why he kept kissing her, and being rude and just doing stupid things. He's not actually like that, he's super sweet and caring toward his family, career, fans, and most especially his friends. He isn't dating Shannon anymore, which I'm actually glad, and I hope he finds someone who is ACTUALLY okay with his career choice and doesn't mind him kissing other people on screen since it's just acting. And not someone whos young and immature and doesn't know how acting works :) Amybeth and Lucas ARE actually friends. They have a genuine connection with another and they both hang out. I sincerely think Shannon was the problem. Not anyone else. Just Shannon. I hope you agree. ALSO I KNOW HIS BEHAVIOR WAS SUPER RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL, THATS NOT THE POINT. Then i found out about all this and I just wanted to break his relationship apart with Shannon, it’s too toxic. Nevertheless, I hope Lucas shows more of his respectful side. Watching this video makes me feel like Amy and Lucas would be so good together. Yes I know he has a girlfriend but I think she’s a bit toxic for him. In her q&a she was saying how it was hard to see him with someone else... like it’s called acting. He never promotes the show on his Instagram and never goes things with the rest of the cast. She legit was on set everyday whilst filming and even when he did go to things she always had to be there. She seems so toxic.

We really want more!!! It ended way too soon. I'm a 39 year old woman and I BAWLED when I heard it was cancelled!!! Why??? This was a brilliant show. I wish another channel would pick it up at least. :(
