There are no cutters. The auger is what press or squeeze the juice out of the fruit/ vegetables, so there are no blades or cutters. I hope I was able to answer your question. Thank you for taking the time to view the view.
In my opinion, there is very little difference. The juicing parts (with the exception of the containers) are the same. Having said that. I do prefer the GM3001 only because the GM3001 has two speeds, and the slower speed tends to produce a little more juice when juicing green vegetables. The GM is about $40 - $50 more. Thank you for watching.
@@marieriddick8388 Thanks for your reply as it has in the decision of which one to buy, think I'll go for the GM3001,I can purchase it here in the UK for £89.99 ( I like to shop around and compare prices before buying and the brand has an eBay store selling it at that price with the other model £10.00 cheaper!!!)
The feeding chute on both are about 1 and 1/2 inches wide. Most slow juicers have smaller feeding openings than the fast juicers. Most fruits and veggies I do need to cut.
After seeing your question, I compared them side by side. I weigh celery, juicing the same weight, I didn't notice any difference. I then did the same with spinach again, I didn't see any difference in the amount of juice produced. ( I only juiced a small amount). I will be doing a more thorough test later this week on a larger volume and testing carrots, apples, and possibly a few other fruits. I will post the video showing the results. Thanks for your question, and thanks for watching.
