Yes! When I watched that scene I immediately started laughing before I said wtf. If I was in that situation I probably would have either laughed while running away too, or just shut down, fell on the ground and cried and probably died 😂

That "shadow person" looked like a dude in a dark blue hoodie with his back to the window. Which was VERY clean for an abandoned house in the middle of the woods. And the barn one... the shuffling around sounds, that sounded like my horses anytime they ate. Moving their food around, their halters hitting the sides of their feed buckets. As for the talking and whistling, I have a hard time believing it wasn't just somebody there

There's an abandoned barn in the woods near my house, it's actually very "well kept" i guess? There's broken windows, some of the roof collapsed, and theres some fallen debris, but it actually looks very "clean" like the one in the video, I think you can attribute that to the fact that it is in the woods away from most people who will vandalize and destroy it.

If you are in a rural area and you hear banshee like screeching, screaming that sounds like a crazy old woman, or an animal being killed, it's probably a fox. It's called a vixen call or vixen scream. They do it mostly during mating season. I've lived near or in woods my entire life and it is THE scariest sound I've ever heard out there... but it's nothing harmful. Racoons can also sound crazy when they are fighting. Deer can also make weird, creepy noises at night during rutting season when the bucks are being territorial.

Yeah. I used to live right in the woods and clear as day me and my family heard a woman screaming bloody murder "help" but it actually turned out to be a fox

I live in a rural area and for the first time in my life I hear those EXACT screams at 3:00 am and woke me up! Now I know they are from the fox! I have seen a family of foxes near my house but never heard the screams until the other night! I’m just happy it’s not something weird or anything like that! 🥴

Mountain lions also sound like a woman's scream. People have sometimes said foxes sound more like kids screaming, but it probably depends on the fox. The barking in the security footage is also probably a fox doing a different sound, called an alert bark! They do it to warn others in their area.

The screech from the door that got slammed in the middle of the woods could have very easily been a bobcat, mountain lion, black panther. Things of that sort we have out here in the sticks.

Its so wild to me that the animal in distress one didnt send that person right outside to check the source. Might be because i rehab animals frequently & have multiple animals but everytime ive ever heard a noise like that I've bolted outside to attempt to render aid.

That is a typical fox call. They sound in distress...can even sound like babies or women crying. Creepy as hell when you hear it...but totally normal

Decades ago my family was house shopping in Montclair (New Jersey); one 1800s house we wish we could have afforded (it had a dedicated _library_ room, with wall bookshelves with stained glass shelf doors), and one of the weirdest (and coolest) aspects was its cellar, its walls being thick stone masonry... as my mother and I observed, all that was missing were shackles...

I definitely think the guys in the woods was a hoax because honestly the way the light went onto the person in the window, it looks like someone in one of those full body suits because of how matte it is. And then the screech sounds added in post because of how it seems to go over the audio and not echo naturally. Still a spooky little clip, but I think they made it just for fun.

That last one could have been a water hammer or other pipe or faucet related noise. If they have an ice maker and the line has air in it, that could be making a random sound.

Regarding “odditiesonelmstreet” I’m confused about the Bible with the dead animal wrapped in tinfoil wrapped inside it. Is she implying that the contents of the Bible were from the 1860’s? Or that the Bible itself is from the 1860’s but the contents were placed inside much more recently? Tinfoil definitely wasn’t available in the 1800’s.

A lot of old houses had basement rooms that were used for different types of cold storage. When they were no longer used and boilers and heat came on...many rooms would be sealed off to keep heat where it needed to be

The one with the animal calls, it's a fox mating call. Then it sounds like goats or possibly elk or deer. And laughter is often a common fear response. Some cry, some scream, some go silent, some ppl laugh.

for the first one, it could be a skinwalker/mimic. i too have a horse and my mom is the manager at the barn, and I’ve heard and seen things that aren’t human. skinwalkers are common in texas and on farms, because they can shape-shift into farm animals, such as horses.

The old apartment building I lived in had what looked like a mini apartment/dissapointment room in the basement, looked normal like a regular room until you looked at the door where it locked from the outside with a key and no key for the inside; the building was build in the late 50's/early 60's so we'll never know what it was for, the walls were build when the building was built because they are part of the foundation. The room was always really creepy when I had to go to the basement for anything and I never liked going anywhere near it

You'd be surprised, laughing is also a fear response. There's some research suggesting that it's also meant to scare away the thing scaring or an alert to the people around you. Lots of people hate the feeling of being tickled and you laugh involuntarily, tickling feeling wrong has been linked to our ancestors and how they'd have to deal with all kinds of little dangers like bugs. I didn't think it was a thing until I was getting stitches on my toe, the numbing didn't take full effect and basically, I could the needle and I was between laughing historically and squeaking out in pain.

I live in a house that might be haunted. I've had a few weird times here. This house is pretty old, I don't know when it was built but I've seen shadows here and there. A tall lady in black just staring at my sister when she sleeps. My mom has seen this little boy with blood on him in our house. Honestly why I'm making this comment is because of Loey's comment about laughter. It brought back one time when I was in the backyard and was cleaning it up, well I heard a man laugh. It freaked me out, I live behind this old building that no ones been in for god knows how long. Doors in this house will open and slam shut, my mom and sister have expirienced that, my moms heard my dad come home from work and talk to her. More has happened but if anyone wants to know more let me know. I don't have any videos of anything sadly.

I wouldn’t invalidate the one video bc they were laughing. When I’m terrified I laugh uncontrollably which then turns into a cry. I also laugh a lot when I’m in extreme pain, it’s a shock/fear response and it’s actually rlly common.
