This swim inspired us to organize openwater swim challenges in the Philippines! Why? Because it was crazy cold in the Atlantic that's why : ). This swim was an amazing experience and it made coming home to our warm waters even more special.
This video touches on how we did what we could to acclimatize, trying everything from ice baths, to finding pools in Philippine mountain cities and getting "lucky" on an especially cold year. We made sure to swim in the Atlantic a few times before the actual swim date.
