Guthrie has entered the chat with one of the greatest guitar solos of all time! The progression is easily one of my favorites of all time and when you add the video it just takes it over the top. So good.
It's so good to see Steven Wilson being on react videos! His collaborations with Jess Cope are amazing! Routine, The Raven That Refused To Sing, King Ghost!
Para mí, el mejor solo de guitarra de la historia. Siempre me hace llorar, siempre. Esta canción es un 10, en todos los aspectos, y el vídeo que la acompaña es perfecto. No conozco a nadie que no le haya hecho sentir cosas. "Routine" también es muy especial.
First off, the production value of your video is great, not even started talking about the song yet, but praise where praise is due. Very professional looking video, the song itself is great elevated by that wonderful solo. Keep up the good work.
Man such a beatiful combination of next level musicianship, story-telling, and the visuals to act out the music. Once ou catch on to the story and conveyed memories buried in the lake... all the letters he was writing symbolically protraying all the things he wished he said, geez just overwhelming. Wait until you watch Routine... another emotional ride. Thanks for the reaction. Oh and yeah that lead was so raw and perfect
Loads more amazing Steven Wilson to explore others have offered some great suggestions along the lines of the animation but musically I would add ‘Refuge’, ‘Detonation’, ‘Luminol’, ‘Deform to form a star’, and ‘First regret/three years older’ but also you owe it to yourself to check out Stevens band Porcupine Tree. “Arriving somewhere but not here’, ‘Fear of a blank planet’, Anesthetise’, ‘Hatesong’, Trains, and recent songs ‘Harridan’ and ‘Herd culling’. Stevens body of amazing work is not so much a rabbit hole as the Marinara Trench.
Great reaction to a magical song, man! Thanks! And, agree, music and video go perfect together. I teach high school lvl in Norway and used this video last week in class. Dark classroom and loud. We are working with "different ways to tell a story". Let’s say it got a reaction.
