Hey actor! If you’re still hunting for the perfect fit monologue, I’ve put together a collection of my favourite Shakespeare monologues sorted by casting type and general vibe. Makes it easy to pick one you love and another one to contrast. You can find it here: shakespearewithsarah.com/shakespeare-collection/

Hi there Shakespeare Sarah, THANK YOU SO MUCH, you have helped me so much as I'm about to do a stage play on midsummer and puck being my character I did not know how to go about the epilogue. I've watched how others have acted theirs and the way you explained this had made me confident in how I want to deliver this closing part. ,🙏🙏🙏

Sorry, I disagree about the audition. I auditioned for the NYC Shakespeare in the Park with this piece. Is there a more prestigious event of its kind in North America? I got a callback on the spot for Philostrate.

It's great that you got a callback. It's not a hard and fast rule of course, and I do like this monologue overall! For younger or newer actors, I generally suggest staying away from epilogues for auditions because unless they're done very well, they can be very underwhelming.

Oooh I might do! I’ve just had a few T&C requests. That’s how I discovered your videos! I was trying to refresh my memory because I haven’t seen or read it for a few years. And as I said, I don’t love it, so I think I’ve erased it from my memory 🙈
