Wow, loving the sound and the colours of the sea so relaxing tranquil. 🌊💕♥️♥️ Beautiful Grenada. Definitely will be booking my holiday in 2023. Thanks for sharing Kriss. Norma 🤗
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had to delete your other message because it included your phone number. If you are interested in purchasing property, here are two real estate links. Just search the internet for more: c21grenada.com/en/ | terracaribbean.com/Grenada/
Coming back to Grenada after 28 long years - can't wait. I enjoyed your walk on BBC beach. I was there 28 years ago and there was nothing there except a few guys catching and frying some fish. Also, the new hotel you previewed, was the location where I stayed. The hotel back then was called the Flambouyant. There was a very long staircase to the beach right at the very end of the beach. Easy walk down, but not so much coming back up!
28 years is a long time. I too remember the Flamboyant Hotel . Check out my latest vlog where I give an update on the new hotel that they are trying to complete! 😊
Inside it has a huge, sunken dance-floor so you can dance on the sides or in the middle. There is also a stage for performances. That club has been there since my late teens when I first came back to Grenada.
I visited Jamaica way back in 2001 and 2006. Stayed in Mandeville, Kingston, Monteqo Bay and Ocho Rios, visited some key sites including Dunns River and hopped over to Cuba on one of those trips too! Yes, loved Jamaica!
Once we are all gone, vegetation will take over. As for snakes in Grenada, I googled it "There are four species of snakes on Grenada including the Grenada Bank tree boa, cribo, Barbour's tropical racer, and the Grenada Bank blindsnake. Three of the four snakes are officially endangered so it's not surprising that sightings are rare"
Fantastic video and I love BBC beach also. I asked my Dad why it was called BBC beach and I'm sure he said that it used to be known as Brians Beach Club.
Thanks for all the views of Grenada, I was there in 2007 for the first time, my parents were Granadiens , they came to Venezuela when they were young. I'm looking foward to visit the island and check on family and land we have there. Thanks so much for sharing! God bless you!🥰
Hi Kris good to get another vlog from yourself!😀 Been watching with great interest from London, seeing all the places I haven't been to yet and can't wait to get out there soon as everything is better. Wondered how things are going currently, are you all⁸ still under strict lockdown?
Interesting video, I was looking forward to seeing Grenada's local buses and it was a minibus 😂. A bit similar to what they use in former Soviet Union countries and they call them marshtukas over here
Lovely Grenada my flight cancelled for this year by God grace next year I miss home so much come to London when I was 13 year know I am 60 year old love Grenada 🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩❤❤❤
Kriss, I had been wondering the about its name too. Then, as if by magic, you walked past the PLYWOOD and read the sign out loud. Could the answer be B, B, C stands for Beach, Bar, Cafe. What do you think? 🤔🙄😊
Hi Ronnie, well this beach has been called BBC for decades, long before La Plywood. I believe he took the initials and applied it to himself, which was kinda clever!
Well I'm stumped. When I was there 2017 I asked the same question, but the guard had no idea either. I will have to put it down as one Grenada's many mysteries.....Kriss, how long have you being living Grenada, and which part of London were did you grow up in (I am guessing west London) ??!!
I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. Our airports open on 1 July but I'm not sure when tourists will be welcomed back. The first phase is possibly going to be Grenada citizens and certain officials. Covid is still with us and one still needs to quarantine for 14 days which wouldn't make much sense for a holidaymaker!
Do you know why Morne Rouge beach is known as BBC beach? UPDATE: Thank you Zee Zee, I put Blanco Beach Club into Google and found this fascinating article. rb.gy/2tjwpi. Besides learning something new, look at one of the images, BBC beach is pure bush, wonderful!
The beach got its name from Bob Blanco. Bob Blanco Beach.English find it amusing when they hear BBC beach. However, the acronym BBC stands for the British Broadcast Corporation....
The name BBC came about by the owner of the club His name was Blanco So when you say you are going to BByou are acutally saying you are going to Blanco"s beach club So the name stuck
It so lonely out their you Harley see people walking around why so if it so nice you really don't see anyone to much like it's boring everything is showing for good looks
@@krissmgvlogs Too many feel like a beach should be bustling with people eating, drinking and partying off/on water. I LOVE how open our beaches are. No struggling to find a spot to relax on.
