Thanks for the tour at the Kristallwelten Wattens. I am watching your video's for the Tuscan house renovation since I would like to move to Tuscany one day as well. I did not know you used to work at Swarovski! I am currently working for Swarovski at the customer service department for the Dutch/Belgium market. It is really nice to get the tour at the Kristallwelten in Wattens. Thanks again and I wish you the best!
Hi freestyler, That's great, it's a good company to work for, although the last years have been tough. Where are you based? With CGB in Männedorf? Good luck with your Italian project, it's never too soon to start!
@@NotUselessYet I am based at the CGB in Gdansk, Poland. It is a great location in a beautiful city. Unfortunately I have been to the office only 3 times in total since it is only working from home during the current situation. Still lovely tobwork for them! It seems like Swarovski has gone through many changes lately. This year is focussed on the rebranding of the company with loads of new products. Many changes but it is exciting to go through this!
1. That was fantastic! First I was impressed with water feature only to be blown away by the museum! I’d love one of those Swarovski walls! 2. How sweet it was to hear that in awe “wow!” from your son whilst in the museum!! He was having a ball! 3. Loved, loved the snow room !!!!!!! So many times during weeks of hot, humid weather I wished for one day of snow. There you can get it whenever! 4. Park was so creative! Never saw a carousel like that. When I was a child, my poor mother had to have them stop the carousel we were riding. Why? Because this worry wart was fixed on the gears on the ceiling and was certain it was going to break and. Crash. I know.... nut job! I also hate to go through mazes because I feel trapped. And don’t get me started on roller coasters.... not for a million dollars!😂 5. Those desserts..... holy cow!! I bet they were as delicious as they were pretty! 6. Retractable awnings: I get that they may not be the prettiest, but, but....you only have to have it open when you need it. And if it allows the family to have more comfortable use of the veranda....... just sayin. The boys are fair skinned and burn easily. They can play outside without fear of sunburn. And picture sitting out there on a warm pouring rainy day with a cold brew in hand..... boys happy because they’re not stuck inside. Practicality vs aesthetics. Ok..... I’ll keep quiet now.🤭🤭 Thanks for such a great trip today Raff! Never tire of views of those majestic alps!
Hi Christine! 1. I'm glad you liked it, the wall is spectacular, but every square meter probably cost as much as the house in Italy! 2. His favorite word! At that age, the world is made up almost exclusively of wonders! 3. Very very cold in there... Also still masses of snow on the mountains. 4. Haha, not much of a funfair goer then! I'll agree with you on roller coasters, but a good maze is always fun. As a child I used to go through the one in Hampton Court Palace at full tilt, knew it almost off by heart. 5. They were pretty and delicious, but also microscopic! 6. My better half has vetoed the awning, and I'm tempted to agree, it'll be an umbrella for now, and maybe one day a trellis over the top with a vine or something, who knows! Thanks again!
I feel like I'm on vacation with you guys thanks for sharing another lovely video. And may I add if I were wealthy I would have that glassed wall with the crystals in it for my bathroom shower simply beautiful.
I can't thank you enough, what a beautiful, wonderful, amazing place crystal World is. Stunning! I think my favorite was the crystal walls. The outside Playland was great. Loved watching the little ones having fun.. as for the mountains... breath taking!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much.
Raff. Thanks again for sharing another beautiful spot in your adopted country. It looks like you're living in postcard picture with such gorgeous scenery. I loved following your little guy. I had 2 of those running around 52 years ago. Same haircuts. Your sense of beauty and generosity are greatly admired and very much appreciated along with your partner who allows us to tag along with the family. She seems as lovely as she looks. Looking forward to your next video and Italy 🇮🇹 as well. Cheers frim Ocala Florida 🙋🏼♀️
Hi Marie! Greeting to Ocala! It is a wonderful place to live, I've been very lucky. My partner is lovely, as are the kids, the haircuts are still being debated in our household, I think that blondie looks like a mushroom! We'll all be back in Italy on Sunday for a week, so plenty more coming soon!
@@NotUselessYetI'm in New York City, and we are not allowed to travel to Europe just yet. But as soon it's open I'm "flying the coup." One and a half years couped up is enough. Hoping in about six months we'll be able to travel anywhere in the world.
We had been staying in Weer which isn’t far from The Swarovski headquarters but it was closed when we were on our way to Venice. Thank you for the tour 🦘🦘🦘
Thank you so much for indulging us in the world of crystal, will watch again so can read all the tags. I love children's museums, was often at one or another when kids little as so many good learning displays. There is a magnificent one in Oklahoma City right next to the zoo and many more we never got to. Days off are so few
Hi Cheryl, I'm glad you liked it, they did well when it was redone about 6-7 years ago to make it more kid friendly! If I'm ever in Oklahoma I'll head for the zoo and the museum next door!
Hi Angela, do go there! It was a coincidence, we both came from far away, me from near Bordeaux, and her from near Frankfurt, and ended up in the same office! It might well have been fate!
Gracias gracias y mil gracias!
The Crystal place was amazing thanks for taking us on the tour , such beautiful scenery with the snow still on the mountains. I can see why your little ones love going there.
That crystal museum puts my little 3in Swarovski Owl 🦉 to shame , I now feel very inadequate 😂😂, looks an amazing afternoon out and spectacular landscapes 👌🏻.
Enjoyed. Beautiful scenery. The Museum was interesting and beautiful. Enjoyed the little ones having fun, My two sons are grown now, My youngest is home hes 23 and still my little boy..lol Great video!
Oh my goodness I loved the tour of Swarovski Crystal World. The crystal dome is awesome, the chandeliers, too many things to mention so so lovely thank you. I have beautiful Swarovski crystal drop earrings that I never wear because I’m scared I’ll lose them. Silly I know
What a beautiful, magical museum. I can see why your son likes to visit. I could spend hours going through the rooms. Thank you for sharing your family day at this museum with everyone.
Wonderful, wonderful tour! I’m a huge Swarovski Crystal fan having used them on dresses I’ve made for my granddaughter plus a LOT of my jewelry. The interior of the museum was fascinating and the gardens so relaxing. Your son is adorable!
Thank you for our virtual visit to wonderful Austria. We’ve travelled to Alpbach many many times over the years and hope that it will not be too long before we can return
It looked like an amazing day for you and your family. I loved hearing your little mans exclamation of joy while riding the carousel. The food looked divine. Beautiful place you live in. Mary
Thanks D, peace is easy once everything else in in place, like security and food and education. Unfortunately that's not the case everywhere yet, I'm very fortunate, and try to remember that. This is also why I feel so strongly about supporting children's charities trying to eradicate hunger and poverty.
Wonderful work, as always, you are a great fellow! Interesting, exciting and useful! I wish you great success and always a positive attitude, strength and good luck!
Really interesting tour. Lovely back drop with the mountains. At least the better weather has arrived. In the UK after a month of rain we have lovely sun and warmth. Hopefully same across Europe.
Thanks so much for taking us to Crystal World! We’ve often thought of stopping by, but never got round to it. After watching your video, we’re certainly going there next time we’re near Innsbruck. All the best from Germany!
Wow what an amazing place. Such a beautiful location. You picked a day with such wonderful weather. The museum was so unique. It is a jewel of a museum. The park system too was done up so well for children. It had so much to offer. I could have spent a couple of days there. Your babies mom is so good with the children. Thank you both in sharing it with us all.
Wow... Such an amazing, incredibly fascinating and inspiring destination, which I wasn't aware of before. Thank you for sharing. Another place for me to visit on my European grand tour lol
Hi Sandi, put it on the list! If you come from Salzburg, you can visit Swarovski, then Innsbruck, and then keep going to Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, the most amazing castle in the world!
We're in the midst of another strict lockdown here in Melbourne, Australia, and yet we are fortunate enough to be able to travel with you to see amazing sights. We had not heard of this place and although it isn't on our bucket list we enjoyed your tour. We also enjoy the scenes as you drive along. It is relaxing with your usual music. Thank you.
Greetings from Texas, Rena! I have been watching all the shocking stuff going on in Melbourne/Victoria...you have my deepest condolences. The government there is grossly abusing power. Best wishes to you and your family.
@@margietucker1719 Hi from Melbourne. The large majority of Melbournites support our state government's stance on dealing with these outbreaks. We are happy to do our bit to save the more vulnerable members of our community. This is the fastest was of getting the outbreak under control. We do, however wish of the government of Australia would do its bit to make sure that returning citizens can be quarantined safely in suitable facilities and to provide and organise a more efficient roll out of vaccines and support for individuals and business that are impacted by these outbreaks.
Hi Rena, I saw the restriction come back into force in Melbourne, and I have a feeling that this year will repeat last year a bit. Everything is open in summer, then as we get towards Autumn, the cases come back and with them the lock downs. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, and the roll outs are effective before new mutations come along. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos, I'm off to Italy on Sunday with the family, so there'll be more soon!
@@NotUselessYet fingers crossed that we are winning the war with the virus and that such sever restrictions will not be necessary after the summer. Looking forward to seeing you back in Italy again.
Thank you for this video, the Swaroski museum and park look incredible. I enjoyed the carousel ride with your son too. When I have the opportunity to get back to Europe this will be on my list of places to go.
This surprise tour you took us on was absolutely fascinating! Thanks for taking us along! What an amazing display! And that is the cutest merry go round I’ve ever seen! Love the laughs I’m hearing!
What a lovely place. Thank you for sharing your outing. I am envious. We are still in lockdown due to having the highest number of cases in Canada so it is nice to see places opening up.
Hi Lynne, fingers crossed that the numbers will get better in Canada soon! It's such a breath of fresh air when you finally get out of lockdown, I hope it lasts this time!
Also if you're in the area, visit Innsbruck, and then keep going a bit further west to Neuschwanstein, and then on to Bregenz which I filed a few weeks ago!
That was amazing, my 30plus year old daughter would love the outdoor playground (she would have joyed the design of it, as well I, it is wonderful. I never knew it was there, thank you. Farmland Minnesota p.s. we are enjoying 95 degrees of sunshine 🌞
Amazing museum,my favourite phase has to definetly be feel the love. Just the Indian style of it makes it so mesmerizing to watch, and how every color is inverted.
Thank you for the great excursion! I love Swarovski. So nice not to be crowded too. Your little guys are very sweet. That little arm shot holding the ball you could bite! Lol
Thanks for sharing this tour video. I hope you and your family have all enjoyed the park and the museum. So my query is, Swarovski is a laboratory produced crystal?
Hi Evelyn, Swarovski is a brand, and pretty much world leaders in crystal, but it's just cut glass, not mined like diamonds! They have a number of big glass furnaces right there behind the museum, and they make little glass beads which are then cut and polished into the glittery crystals.
greetings from austria. Im in innsbruck land witch is a county right next to schwaz were you were. Sorry for bad grammer n stuff as i allready said im from austria.
It's a pitiful, they didn't build a crystal palace with a crystal bridge, or at least a bridge. Like in a fairy tale: when the king demanded that a crystal palace and a bridge be built overnight.
A lot of their art work is grotesque to me it reminds me of Satanism! Crystals are beautiful but, now I know why I never wanted to buy Swarovski! That is gorgeous there...you live in two of the most beautiful places in the world! Lucky you!
Hi Barbie, the artwork is quite unique! Artists like Dali were known for creating crazy stuff. The area is amazing, as is Tuscany, we're extremely lucky! Thanks!
