The old Hawthorn tram depot houses the collection of old, historic and unusual trams from Victoria and around the world. You will see modern trams running past the front of the building then we look at what remains of the depot tracks (otherwise known as the depot fan) then move inside to inspect the Melbourne cable tram preserved alongside a European tram (from Italy) then we move into the training room where drivers learned all about the trams including the electrical parts.
