Diving at the “La Galère” site on the island of Port-Cros is an underwater adventure like no other, and Samiy knew he was going to have an unforgettable experience with each descent into these waters rich in biodiversity.
Samiy began his exploration by discovering a conger eel nestled among a bed of multicolored corals which decorated the Port-Cros reef. The shimmering colors of the corals formed an enchanting scene that served as a backdrop for this mysterious creature.
Suddenly, a large group of Dentex Dentex, impressive marine predators with sharp teeth, passed in front of Samiy. Their imposing silhouettes added a touch of majesty to this underwater scene.
Then came the moray eels, who seemed to enjoy parading in front of Samiy's camera. Their sinuous bodies and piercing eyes made their presence captivating amid the profusion of colors of the reef.
Hundreds of small, colorful fish then danced in the blue, creating a spectacle of moving colors. Samiy observed them in wonder, admiring the diversity of marine life that inhabits these waters.
Samiy had the chance to meet a rock fish and a kind of small tuna, which were shy but just as fascinating. The groupers, with their color variations, added a touch of elegance to the dive.
A group of striped fish appeared in large numbers, showing off their scales in front of Samiy's lighthouses. It was a display of their beauty and synchronization, creating a hypnotic underwater ballet.
Finally, to end this memorable dive, a majestic jellyfish floated on the surface, almost seeming to dance in the last rays of light. Samiy slowly returned to the surface, his heart filled with gratitude for this experience which had allowed him to discover the richness and beauty of the underwater world of Port-Cros. Each dive was a unique adventure, and he knew he would return again and again to explore these extraordinary waters.
