I just got vmp1, the gun works good. It may not be everyone's taste. We can see how it holds up long term. If i had the skills id put the internals in a mac10, my favourite gun.
Hang on, so you just transplanted everything into the TMP shell? ....Was there anything custom you had to do or is it practically drop-in? I'm absolutely fed up with mine constantly breaking but I love the form factor so I was thinking of getting a VMP-1 instead but if I don't have to bin the TMP....
8:09 That immediately reminded me of a Newgrounds Flash animation from back when Halo 2 came out. "Cortana, how do I use this thing?" "It's simple, Chief. Shut your eyes, go to your happy place, and squeeze the trigger."
Took mine out for its maiden voyage today and it smashed the bb bit on the nozzle within 2 mags, good job it comes with a spare, hope this one lasts longer
@@NegativeAirsoftTech I was doing this but it wouldnt reset trigger so would have to keep cocking then noticed the piece had broken, will be more careful next time I guess
@@rasmusandersson4461kids these days, it's why the whole film is shown in the trailer & they only have the attention span to watch a 20 second tick tock
@@rasmusandersson4461 They want everything inside of 30 seconds with no surprises or story or they'll need a hug & a present & then still the're going to HR.
Ehm lets imagine my mp9 bolt wont go into battery... And thats caused by the disconnector holding the bold back by a millimeter. How do i stretch that springa?
Riddle me this what kept you from using KWA parts in the KSC since they're related more closely, was it because the parts are just different enough to make it usable?
Everytime you bring up the MP9 i remember that i need to work more on mine. Being able to potentially use Vorsk parts is good news but i'll wait until people figure out what is cross compatible with or without light modification. At least my MP9 works now with the thicker nozzle and LPE pistonhead. The only issue left to fix is that it doesn't do full auto, it just fires 2-4 shots before dropping the hammer as if it didnt have enough gas. It has the same behaviour on both green and lower powered blue gas, which is really strange to me! Anyone got a guess why it behaves like this?
Sounds like the hammer isn't resetting fully, could be hammer follow. Out of curiosity check with a chrono in full auto if each shot has similar FPS or if it drops after the first couple shots.
@@WarlordEnthusiast That might be it. Perhaps a lighter or shorter spring might do the trick as the piston seal seems to be good. Interestingly enough, the FPS on semi and the full auto behaviour is exactly the same on both blue and green gas. I will try to chrono it on full auto although I suspect that it will be lower and lower. I tried filming the bolt movement in slow motion on my phone (it's a great diagnostic tool) and the bolt movement lessens for every shot until it fails to cock the hammer.
@@Thahamster Yea that definitely sounds like a spring issue, not enough gas is getting into the piston. With each shot less and less gas is getting in until it stops. Do some experimenting with springs, see if it helps.
@@NegativeAirsoftTech SCIENCE! Fair enough mate, the KMP9 is even cheaper for me in some instances, but can't argue with the availability. Fuckers became unobtainium the last few years.
@@NegativeAirsoftTech big fan of the channel, and I have an old hard-kick TMP, it's working after replacing a few perished rubber parts (took me a few years to track down!) What mods are needed to get the internals moved over? Would love to rock it again without worrying about something else breaking and making it a permanent wall hanger.
