My area got hit rather hard from the hurricane and today my internet finally came back. lol I missed seeing the farm and all the animals, however, I am so thankful my home didn't get too damaged as some people lost everything. The farm brings me such peace and joy. Thank you Chad and Darlin for sharing your beautiful farm life with all of us. Your farm is very neat and clean. Animals look so clean and healthy and happy. You and your wife does such a great job with the farm. Now is a great time to get a new sheep dog puppy so Olive can train it while she still has the energy to do so. Nothing will replace Molly but with a farm the size of yours you really need 2 dogs ❤❤❤

The growing tips of the bitter gourd plant are delicious when stir fried. Green tomato chutney is delicious!

When I saw all of your green tomatoes I immediately thought of fried green tomatoes, a southern staple. You should try them sometime. Just dip in cornmeal and fry.

You don’t like pickles????? Ok, that’s it… I can no longer be your friend… 😂😂😂 just kidding…. I can’t believe you don’t like pickles… I love them…. I make my own too…. I like Garlic and onion pickles…. I use vinegar, pickling spice, sugar, whole cloves of garlic, an entire onion sliced up, some dill and then cut up a bunch of cucumbers…. Boil up my brine and then Take the cucumbers that I had setting in salt to "pickle" em, rinse them Off and add them to my hot brine…. I let them completely cool and then pack them in mason jars… set them in the fridge out in the garage and in two weeks, they are ready…. I have a bunch of jars of my pickles out there… when I get down to 3-4 jars left, I start over again…. I have 24 mason jars that I usually have full of sweet garlic and onion pickles… I LOVE THEM…. Sometimes I will toss in a couple of jalapeño pepper into a few of the jars to get some spicy pickles…I like those too…. I also make pure dill pickles and I tried to make some sour pickles once… that didn’t go over so well… so, I don’t make those any more lol…all this talk about pickles is making me want to go get a jar and a fork…. Lol

The only thing i like about fall is the colour's. The farm is at its best this time of year. Our gardens in Casselman were toast 2 weeks ago. We have had 3 hard frosts already. Are you going to take the catnip into the cats domain for the winter?

Plant the cat nip near the cat house it will seed itself and the one in the pot will come back next year
