My son has worked with Ron Howard on Films he was directing etc & out of alot of famous Directors he holds him highest of setting the standard high. I believe it was influences like Henry in Ron's life that helped Influence Ron for the better. Henry seems a very under rated actor and otherwise & a very intelligent actor who can do drama & commedy one of the rare ones 😉 who didnt go down the wrong path. ❤ Thanks Henry Wrinkler for all you have done > & this film. 👍 ❤
I love the message that "A Christmas Carol" gives. It's a tale of salvation of a lost soul. No matter the rendition or who stars in it, this story touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes. Praise God for this story He gave to Dickens to write 🙏🏼😔
I remember watching this show when I was a young boy. I am now 55 years old and have shown my children this movie. Mr. Winkler you played this part so well! The cast and all the crew who made this movie made me love, cherish, and watch this movie as a tradition every year! I am so glad you said yes to playing this part. Yes others could do it but not with the special touch you gave it! You're a very special person! God knew & had a special plan for you in life. May he always bless you!
This movie has to be one of the best top 4 adaptions ever made! The others are; the one made in 1984, the one made in 1935 that is restored from black and white to color, and the Mrs Scrooge made in 1999 that had Cecily Tyson playing the top role.
A Christmas Carol... with a bit of the Grinch, who returns all the stuff back to the town, thrown in for good measure. Fantastic version of the classic!
I cannot believe I never saw this little gem. This must've been after Happy Days, or during. As a teen, Happy Days was one of my favorites, but I and I always liked Henry Winkler. Thanks for uploading this. 😊
When I was 5 years old I remember waking up at the patio of the police station. We moved from a least 10 homes all around the city . Never had my own room . when I was 38 I hear the gospel. I’m a believer. Today 12/24/2022 4:35 pm I give thanks to the Lord . Luke 2:11. Needs 4 hrs to cook that bird😊 By the way my corvette got the same license plate number 30261😮
This underrated gem of a movie came out when I was only about 7 y.o....and I didn't discover it until 2021, same year I turned 50...not sure where this movie was hiding, and why I didn't find it for so long, but I'm so glad I did....wonderful story, great twist on Dicken's Christmas carol...love it.
I seem to watch All of the different versions of this Great Christmas Movie. This a Well worth keeping on my Must see every Year, That you for sharing! Watching in Alberta Canada.
No matter what version it is Lets all agree that AChristmas Carol is something to never get boring and its something Future Generations can enjoy always I just wish The Christmas Spirit had Visited my Dad but he died in August 2005 he died a very unhappy Man so angry and hateful to people he was an alcoholic and abusive and so is my Mom Its not too Late to have my Mom change She recently fell downstairs at my Uncles house after she lost the 2 houses she lost after my Dad shes in a nursing home now I find it odd she mocked me about being born disabled both she and Dad abused me and my 2 Sisters and 1 Brother now shes disabled now too like I said I wish the Spirits would visit Mom because it isnt to late to change
THIS is "Fonzie?" Wow. What an entirely original re-telling of this classic tale. And, since I don't watch television at all(!), I never encountered it until now. A brilliant screenplay with excellent acting. Thanks for sharing, so to speak.
... and, if I may add, an absolutely well-researched and authentic depiction of Victorian manufacturing-shop practice and (line-shaft) technology. Correct for the period. Well done. The proposition that our "Fezziwig" presented to his "Scrooge," and the adolescent course that he then took from it, is entirely historically accurate.
Had no idea this movie ever existed. The one kid who takes all the little kids to see Scrooge in thr intro....was the main villian in 'The Crow' who had the long hair!
George C. Scotts version is terrific but imo Henry Winkler is the bomb portraying ole Mr. Scrooge. Yearly tradition in our house..thankyou...peace on earth hoping and wishing.
