The fact that they took this idea and added depth, character development, snarky humor, humanity, and wholesomeness. Just amazing.

9 years and two full seasons of a show later and the “how many countries are in this country” line still busts me up every time.

I just finished watching the final episode of the show Ted Lasso. It's crazy to me that NBC promotional skits could turn into one of the funniest , smartest, and heartfelt shows i've even watched.

They should really think about turning this into a TV show

The world has changed so much in the last 10 years. Adapting the character into a genuinely nice guy was the masterstroke. Same jokes, completely different feel in a completely different world. To see a comedy promote the values of kindness and team spirit felt so refreshing and rewarding to watch.

Turns out you can take a tiny skit of a video… and turn it into one of the greatest TV shows of all time. And the fact they kept Coach Beard as the same guy is pretty awesome.

Had no idea Ted Lasso was based on this sketch. One of my favourite shows with one of my favourite SNL actors. Incredible.

They made it a series, they actually did it. Good shit Apple.

I know Jason Sudeikis and the other creators only want to do three seasons, I can't imagine how much money they're going to offer to get them to stay cuz many people, myself included, got an Apple subscription solely to watch this Lasso.

This is the Ted Lasso I thought we'd get back in 2020 when the show first aired. I did not expect all this heart and love. I'm sure it'd have been great if he went this route too, but man. I am so glad he subverted the expectations on what this show would be.

I love how my favorite premier league club made it possible for Ted Lasso to actually become a series.

Four weeks ago I had Spinal Fusion surgery and have been laid up for several weeks now but finally starting to get around. I am 70 years old but extremely active don’t look or act my age and still working so being laid up and not feeling like doing anything was very hard for me. So I watched lot of TV which sucked and started looking around when I found Ted Lasso and thought would give it a try. I binged on this show and watched all episodes in three days. Only episode didn’t like was one where Coach Beard went on his night out didn’t seem like it fit in. Every other episode was great and I never laughed and teared up so much. Can’t wait for season 3.

Ted Lasso has quickly become my number 1 favorite tv show, it makes me so happy, but has so much incredible depth to it and character development as well. Truly top notch.

I really like the direction they took him in the TV shows. The kind, sweet and optimistic Ted Lasso is so likeable. This guy is more like a traditional coach. You can't help but root for the version from the series.

I am bewildered at the level of depth they came up with to creat the Ted Lasso we know and love from this 5-minute skit. Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and the rest of the producers have created a timeless piece.
