This is great! I definitely identify with being in Paris and being insecure about not speaking the language! And the metro is so great…once you get used to the different lines it will be so convenient to get around and discover the city!

I can relate to your reservations so much. Especially being a true Cancerian who treasures her shell, it's also hard for me to venture out of my comfort zone. It's gonna take time but it'll get there. Smaller ventures around the vicinity of your home will gradually expand out and you'll be a local in no time ☺

I lived in london for a bit away from my family and fiance and was so terrified by myself at first and its the same language! I have a lot of confidence that you will get over the initial fear too and itll be second nature and youll learn so much about yourself and a beautiful city!

I haven’t yet! My parents’ friends have family in Paris and they have an Armenian restaurant that I have to visit, and my mom has family there as well, so I will make my rounds eventually 😁

Loved this! Paris is intimidating for sure. Enjoy spending time there. I’m sure all the pups make you miss your babies 😍❤️ I’d be looking for places to volunteer with dogs or even be a dog walker to get my fix . Me , not implying you should.

Oh my gosh, I don’t know if it was the neighborhood we were in or what, but EVERYONE had dogs and they were always out walking them, I had to resist the urge to cuddle each one! 😆 one guy let his dachshund run up to me and I gave him some love 🐶🤍

I moved to France 20 years ago, even everything looks so stunning but first year was difficult, weather,foods, language. But they're getting better if your could speak. I suggest to go to school to learn language properly if you have time you will love it and can't wait to go and learn something new everyday.Not only you can speak better but you will learn about the culture, society social that your boyfriend doesn't teach you it will make your blend in easier. French people are special but once you get to know them you become one. Listen a lot of news on the radio or television. That's help a lot to understand the language quickly. 😊

So real about going to famous European art museums and feeling weird bc of colonialism/imperialism/these significant pieces of culture being stolen. My best friend from college grew up hella Catholic and gradually starred to move away from the church/organized religion, so by the time she visited the Vatican for the first time when she was 23, she was like ehhhhhhh lol 😅 I remember telling her “you’re too woke now to fully enjoy it” haha. Loved this Parisian footage though! Hope you’re adjusting well to this transatlantic lifestyle ❤
