A thing I listen for in great orchestras is the accuracy of brass pitches. I thoroughly enjoyed this recording and one of the reasons was because of the brass section's impeccable attention to detail. Such accurate playing is hard to come by these days and you guys had a great handle on the parts. Kudos to the oboeist as well. You must get your reeds from a GREAT source.
Robert Franken wrong. The trumpets specifically are with poor tone. As a trombone player I can say that the whole brass section is playing very sloppy. Needs cleaner articulation
Great song, but I heard just one horn out of tune and it really bothered me. I knew because I play french horn and I'm sitting here looking at the exact sheet music.
