This is a bloody cooked up story we all know that Sri vidyaranya comes from the Sringeri Mutt which was established by Shankaracharya even in the disciplic succession or Guru Shishya Parampara of Srungeri mutt the name of Sri vidyaranya is included he is also known as the second best advita philosopher of all time after Shankaracharya but in the history of srungeri mutt it is mentioned that there was a debate that took place between him and any madhwa scholar and it is also not mentioned that any madwa philosopher (Sri akshobhya teertharu) defeated him...

Exactly bro whenever there is any story of any Vaishnav Guru being defeated by other Scholars the call it a cooked up story but they themselves make cooked up stories to over glorify their own Aacharya and defame the other Aacharya. in the same line even if I agree that yes sri akshobhya Tirtha defeated Sri vidyaranya then I should believe that Madhwa philosophy is higher and greater than Shankara philosophy then even in the biography of vallavacharya it is written that once there was a debate between The Scholars of Shankar Samrpradaya, ramanuja Samprady and madhva Samprady in that same vijayanagaraempire at the time he(vallabhacharya)was present after getting permission from the king and from the ministers vallabhacharyaji defeated the followers of Ramanujacharya Madhvacharya so I should believe that the philosophy of vallabhacharya is even bigger or greater than the philosophy of Madhvacharya then all the students of Madhya philosophy should follow the philosophy of vallabha charya known as "pushti marg" or "suddha advaita ". But these people are so clever that they won't accept it.😂😂
