We should strive as much as possible to use our God given gifts in this life FOR HIM first, not just for the sake of our own soul. Did Christ live for us first and God second? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Christ lived for the father FIRST, EVERYTHING else came second. We should strive to put God first just as Christ did, because God the father puts us first (God the father willed that his son Christ Jesus be given over to be sacrificed to save humanity, God the son obeyed out of perfect obedience to the father). God didn't save us for the returns because there's no returns to be had in sin and death, he never has, will have, nor has he ever had a need for creation either. Only the finite have need and God is infinite so he has no need. Sinful humanity is tantamount to a labor of love to God, he gave us everything in our inheritance AND without expectation or NEED for returns. That is true love my friends, the only kind of love we should strive for in this life or any other. God bless ❤❤❤
