I have one more question. Is it possible to search for a file or pdf within your PC’s documents using streamlit? For example column one has invoice#, column 2 has account # and column 3 has service #. On streamlit you would have a search bar that says enter invoice #. When you enter the invoice #, the program will look at the excel document for /account#/service#/invoice.pdf

Its very useful video but. How about update or replace existing values ?? Then save the new df Can you make a video using streamlit ?

Little bit of feedback, i mean well: Only mention your other videos on a topic once, put a link in the description. You can assume more knowledge from your audience because you can expect them to look to your other videos if they do not understand what you are saying. This means you can do more than add 2 datapoints to a small excel file. That is exactly what excel... excels at.

Hi I follow your code. Manage to st.write (df) but when I df.to_csv("answer.csv",index=False), there is an error message --> PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'answer.csv' . May I know how to fix this?

It is possible that you have your excel file open while running the app. This will prevent streamlit from appending new data to the spreadsheet if it is open in another application.

Is the title of this video supposed to be clickbait? :) Nothing stated in the title is explained in the video. No Excel files but .CSV, no updates but simply adding fixed rows programmatically... Good intentions but unfortunately not very useful.

Thanks for the feedback. I made it for a subscriber who just wanted to know the basics. Sorry if it came across as clickbait. Totally not my style. I will see if I can put together a better video in the future
