After enlightenment my thoughts were no more. No longer did I hear that voice of condescendence, of judgement. And that was the greatest relief of all. You are enlightened. You are integrated and complete. You are just having fun remembering this. And there are so many ways to have fun!

FLW By far, the very best cutting edge architectural designer in World history. No debate needed. Hands down. Decades ahead of his time.

Of course without all of the box like buildings surrounding the Guggenheim it would not be as impressive just as 'Falling Water' contrasts with the nature surrounding it.

If by “breaking the rules” you mean have the city sign off and pay for it? Jeez I wish my county would let me build a modern monstrosity like that but… I’d just get denied.

Wright was old school. Used the studio system like artists of the past. So it was probably designed by one of his students. He had many students, which is why his 'style' kept changing.
