i immediately thought to myself: "ah yes, maybe i'll go with sonata form!", but i got lazy with having to copy everything i just put in, so this is just a song without any structure. video quality is quite bad, but that's alright.

so the whole song seems to change keys between Bb and F, but that second chord that you're talking about has a major third from the key of F major, but that part is in F minor, so you kinda get a little bit of brightness. Also, it functions as a dominant chord that resolves to Bb minor (which then becomes the key)
