Hey folks,
Welcome back to the channel.
Day Two at Glentress presented me with a different weather system and challenges!
The loop felt long, cold (for mid July), wet and very lonely at times. BUT it was amazing at the same time!
Tried hard to make this a enjoyable to watch as possible...even at 34 mins!
Anyway, enough chat! I really hope you enjoy this video. It's great to be back and I hope to bring you more content through out 2024!

I've been to GT dozens of times, but never done the full Black loop. Got a weekend up there next weekend, for some more exploring out the 'dark side of Glentress'. From the Mast there's a heap of enduro trails. The new trails by the car park have made the older trails much quieter these days.

If you come back up here, I recommend the Gypsy Glen loop which is easily accessible from where you were staying and has some great natural trails with big views of the valley.

That Christmas tree was frigging huge! I can see why there weren't many folks on the trail in the wet. Some of that black route climb looked like it would have been incredibly difficult if it was dry. Mud and Roots almost looks like something here in NS. Really enjoyed the vid and am looking forward to the next one!

The grip on pretty much everything was decent. The steepness of it was really the killer for my unfit arse. The rock step ups were hard. Hopefully the next video will won’t be as long to come
