I'm not buying anymore dlcs or season passes or anything until they start giving the option to remove placards. It can't be that difficult. Ps. Great first look. Top of the line video as always
Excellent demo, FSG! I really appreciate the "real feel" you give the demos. The other guys I follow do a good job explaining the units but it is definitely a game feel explanation. I feel like I'm a customer and you are a dealer demonstrating these units! Lol😎👍🚜
Good review. Thanks FSG. The pack looks like fun especially that slurry, cultivate and seed all-in-one setup. You didn't mention it, but does it come under the season passport option?
It always irks me a little bit when you call these mods. First party paid-for DLC is not a mod. Mods are non-profit hobby projects. To mix those up is not only a bit unfair but also muddies the water towards pay-walled mods, which are not allowed as per Giants standard. Why don't call them what they are? I know that you probably don't "mean" it and it is still an enjoyable video and very "like"-worthy but still - why this linguistic imprecision? Wikipedia: "Video game modding (short for "modification") is the process of alteration by players or fans of one or more aspects of a video game,[1] such as how it looks or behaves, and is a sub-discipline of general modding."
My view is a DLC is a Modification of the base game, be it free or paid, first party or third party. Mods are certainly not exclusively non profit hobby projects, for EG, Custom Modding/Creative Mesh for example are legitimate businesses creating mods, and that's only in the Farm Sim world, look at the vast number of paid for mods for the likes of ATS/ETS and Flight Simulator
@@TheFarmSimGuyWell pretty much the entire Internet disagrees with your view. Also Giants themselves doesn't call their DLCs Mods. Just sayin. Creative Mesh never called Straw Harvest the Straw Harvest Mod but the Addon. Same for Pumps and Hoses Pack and Grimme DLC. Not mods. EDIT: BTW, Giants clearly defines the term Mod in their modding rules. "Special Terms and Condition of Use of GIANTS Software GmbH in relation to the use and creation or provision of User Generated Content (MODS) § 1 Scope in amendment of the General Terms and Conditions of Use 1.1 GIANTS Software GmbH, Rütistrasse 18, 8952 Zürich-Schlieren, Switzerland (hereinafter “GIANTS”), offers the customer (hereinafter “Customer”) the option to create its own games level, maps and scenarios and other content (“User Generated Content” or “Mods”) through the GIANTS Editor and to use them within the framework of games and/or online services developed by GIANTS. ..."
You asked the "entire internet" very quickly. I think you are getting overly concerned about something that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. I very much doubt if me referring to it as a Mod, DLC, Pack, Collection, Content will really confuse anyone.
@@TheFarmSimGuy Yeah well Google can do that in about a second, you know. But look, I'm not the YT police, I'm just telling you. What you do with that information is up to you ofc. To keep calling a car an orange won't make you more correct , though. Have a nice day.
