So, this seems like a wonderful idea, but how do you keep the dried flowers in place? There is no weight or adhesive to keep them from sliding around inside the sleeve. In the video, yours seem to be staying in place even as you flip the pages, but mine move around with even the slightest movement. I definitely could not move the sleeve from even a flat position.
I'm just looking for ways to store my flowers, too. I'm cleaning out all of the books today. I have an idea for the ones with stems. I use acid free photo sticker squares to hold things in place. They do that job well but are gentle enough not to do any damage to the plant. I will say that if the stickers are in place for a long time, they may pull a small amount of paper up, but that's a tolerable downside for me & it very rarely happens.
A couple of important things I left out. The squares I found are small so sometimes I have to "layer" one end with another to get it fully secured around the stem if it's a little larger. The second thing I forgot to mention is that I leave the waxpaper on one side of the sticker for obvious reasons. If it's removed, it will stick to anything put on top. The kind I have come in a small box with a spool of stickers inside and they're fed out of a slot at the bottom of the box. I think the brand I have is Pioneer Photo Albums ❤
