And playing these notes won't have any of the more harsh dissonances, like the 4th on a major chord, b9 on the iii chord, the b5 on a vii chord etc. Kinda like the pentatonic scale. And this bassline has been used in a lot of songs, ends on the fifth of the minor scale which leads back to a again.

For those who don't know why it sounds good it's because Am aka A- is a relative to C major so there are no sharps or flats. All those notes were in the A natural minor scale hense why they sound good.

Its good but also another way to make it good is when you press the A C E you can go down like about 3 times and repeat it and play the notes about 16 times then go down
I used to find patterns like this by ear when i played piano in the music teachers room during lunch in highschool. I wish i had more support for it back then!!

If you really want to look like a professional you also have to use the correct hand posture. It's slightly harder that way, but if you really do it correctly it will become easier on your hand

That only works for minor keys with flats and sharps. The A minor scale for example doesn't have any, unless you are using the melodic or harmonic scales. He used A minor (natural) in this example
