I was the architect for this project. We were connecting two historic buildings that were not designed to connect, and had differing floor levels and corridors. We also had to meet current accessibility codes and the University's design requirements. This groovy elevator made it all possible.

Nice, I never saw an elevator with three doors. I have been in one at a local hospital that had two doors.. Front and back for patient transport..

Nice - it would be better if it only announced the floor the elevator actually arrives at, rather than every floor

Even thought it's the same floor number, the doors may be at different levels.

I bet that's a hospital, right? Hospitals have such weird floor plans, and every floor is different. If it's an old building and the elevator was added as a renovation, the doors have to open different ways to face the main corridor on each floor.

It doesn't look like a hospital sized elevator. But it depends on the amount of passengers that can go in the elevator.
