A former Leadville resident here, 1981-1986. I'm wondering if you are aware of (or perhaps even own a copy of) my 2015 book, Silver Rails: The Railroads of Leadville, Colorado, hard cover, 288 pages. It's out of print now after two printings and 1,700 copies, though you might still find a copy at the Mining Museum or the Book Mine if it's still open. And Lake County Public Library has at least two copies as does the library at Colorado Mountain College. Do you have any insight I to what "American Pie" was?

Ohhh I so wanted to hear this story! But the music is distracting, too loud, unnecessary and has nothing to do with the story. I hope you re-publish this without the music. I love the work you're doing to bring us insights into history.
