Hi Mac, welcome to the channel! When were there in July yes it was about 5c cooler but I understand it varies quite a bit. During Oct-Dec the maximums are much the same, but the nighttime minimums are always at least 10c cooler than Cairns year round. It's also a much drier climate on the tablelands so there's little humidity. Hope you're enjoying your trip! Cheers
