Take a ride on the Tallest observation wheel in the world. The High Roller, located in the Linq, just opened in Las Vegas in 2014. Take a ride now while the Glass is still scratch free. This video starts with a view of the High Roller from the beautiful gardens at the Flamingo hotel, followed by a walk down the Linq corridor and finally you getting on the ride. Enjoy panoramic views from all angles, see what it's like to stand inside of the pod with your fellow travelers and enjoy a few more parting views as you exit the area.
FOR FILM GEEKS:
This entire video was filmed on Easter Sunday, 2014 with a Panasonic GH3 and Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 lens. Camera was in AWB on the Natural picture profile. No grading at all. Everything is exactly how it came out of the camera.

I just went there today with my husband and my 2 daughters ( 3 and 2) it was midnight, my husband and my youngest daughter enjoyed it soooo much my oldest one and I were just sitting there never looking down.. im 4 months pregnant and i was soo nervious i literaly felt i was going to have the baby up there 😂 so if you are afraid of heights NEVER go there! its scary my whole body was weak. Good thing we only paid $36 for 2 night tickets since we are locals 😁 another good thing is that we got a whole pod just for us 4; but im home now and still shaking i cant sleep!!! 🤣

rode it today . spectacular views . don't worry but don't do it if you suffer from any kind of vertigo . otherwise very nice . smooth ride .

They are in the process of building one of these in Wichita, KS and it is supposed to be just as tall as this one. Also a 40+ story 500 room convention hotel is in the process of being built in Wichita and will be as tall as the observation ferris wheel.

We did this on our trip to Vegas, it was awesome. Really nice to see the strip at night. There's an open bar option as well.

When +Rocky point Park in Rhode Island was in operation, they had a double Ferris Wheel While the Ferris Wheel ride was going up, and down, it was also turning around, so somebody was still at the top on the wheel that stopped on the top. I heard my sisters saying at the top on the wheel on the bottom, getting stopped at the top wasn't too bad, but when you stopped t the top on tht wheel on top, it was really bad!

Nice ferris wheel. But you have to admit, looking at hotel rooftops and parking lots isn't that beautiful. There really are no beautiful natural features around Las Vegas, other than Redrock canyon, which isn't that visible.
