This line is played within a single zone, specifically between the fifth and eighth frets of the guitar. This allows the guitarist to play the line more quickly, although it may present challenges in terms of picking technique (and that is the trade-off of playing in one position/zone). The choice of notes is quite common in the bop vocabulary of musicians like Charlie Parker, Theodore "Fats" Navarro, Clifford Brown..etc...
