His lifetime ban was lifted because accdg to them we need him during the ABC basketball tournament. His expertise is in ball handling and executing the play. If you can see the write ups about him during international competition I can say that he is not an ordinary player.

am happy listening to the inspiring story of vice-mayor tito as i too am an referee in the amateur ranks. i am a fellow samarnon of vice-mayor tito as i my homeplace is san antonio, basey, samar. i missed the chance to meet ref tito personally in the pba. i met some of colleagues ogie bernarte, mario montiel, alex tangonan, efren garferio, joey calungcaguin, franco ilagan, throngy aldaba, peter balao. i wish to see him personally someday.

Late ko ng napanood ang programang ito (salamat muli, RU-vid algorithm), pero anlakas maka-nostalgia at naging maliwanag (pardon the pun) at madetalye ang mga haka-hakang kuwento na nababalitaan mula noong unang nakanood ng PBA sometime in 1988 or 89. I'm a follower of the PBA until late 2000s, at nanonood na lamang ng conference finals (although highlights na lamang sa RU-vid) basta finalist ang Ginebra. Luis "Tito" Varela's humble beginnings is so inspiring and deserves a lot of respect and admiration. And along the way, I thought he's a principled individual (especially nang naging referee na siya) that he compromised friendship (or pakikisama) and overcame lures brought by under the table money and comfort. Hindi pa kasama ang narinig pagmumura at paghahamon. May point si Atoy Co, while sir Tito's perspective brought a deeper and no-nonsense insight about Jaworski, Sr.'s "legendary" status. Indeed, nakuha ni Jawo ang sympathy ng madla dahil maraming nakaka-relate sa kanya, although sadly due to not-so-good reasons on some.

With due respect kay Atoy Co - totally disagree na average player lang si Jaworski. It only shows how bitter he was and he is to Sonny being the GOAT of Phil Basketball.

Ang comment ni Atoy yung kanyang trade mark sa laro.Yes si Jowo iba ang carisma power play talaga.Totoo wala talagang wala siya ibang move like yung turn around shoot fadeaway,Tulad ni Bogs,Atoy,Arnie Tuadles,Philip,Danny Florencio,Allan Caidic,Vergel Mineses,The Captain,Sambooy Lim,Johnny Abarentos,James Yap.and others.

Sa dami ng mga basketball players, sya ang naiiba ang story nakakabilib survivor talaga sya!

being a ref, i totally agree with the explanation of ref tito. the job of the ref is too tough, more than a judge. the ref carries the rulebook in his head while running and have to decide quickly as he sees the violation. the judge can take all the time weighing the evidence and read all the rules. a split second delay or a split second anticipated call will change the outcome of the game. much more a non-call on a clear violation. the life of a ref is akin to a judge, doing away from players to maintain public perception that the ref is free from any outside influence.

To those who say jawo didn't have a signature move...nobody has one as well coz everyone copied somebody..even those aerial wwalkers, fade aways, they're copied moves so why say they're signsture moves..mon Fernandez,s elegant shot was the closest for a signature move..the big J has huge hands he could drive to the basket with a patented one handed, ball palmed is his big hands...a gifted passer and playmaker..and one thing atoy co didn't have - leasership...greatness is big J who represented the xountry internationally wirh pride and grace..a myrhical 5 in Asia..now , beat that.
