@@treecko7424 I prefer the boss with the poorly defended plan. There are a couple of reasons for this. 1. It is up to the boss to take the gamble after being presented with questions and information, and being wrong will severely weaken him. 2. Subordinates find out that they can win in the discussion and thus will be more motivated to think critically. More critically thinking minds on any problem will prevent mistakes in the thought process from influencing the discussion. 3. The premise provided is faulty in the first place. If it's a good plan either way, there is a reduction in critical thinking, and only the boss can win. If it's a bad plan, there is a process in making it a good plan, and everyone benefits.

​@@annwrog for the record i just wanna say that in science being right doesn't justify anything until you can prove it, she makes assumptions, she can't back it up so she has to progress. If house just nods and accepts the first time she makes her assumptions and it's wrong it would not only be risky to the patient, but she would not progress either as she would lose any sense of proof needed in science. It's not admirable tho house is just a representation of the reality that is science, cold, impartial and mean to anything that can't back up claims with science logic

Significant difference being House is genuine, honest, and transparent from beginning, while our Watson here puts on a facade of ethical justice until it works in his favour

Undoubtedly taking a million dollars from someone who is super rich, for the purpose of helping a hospital, is taking advantage of that person in a much less serious way than taking a kidney from him.

And why stop at donating just the kidney? He has an extra lung, eye, part of his liver/pancreas/intestine, bone marrow/skin grafts/blood donations for the rest of his life. Even his gonads could potentially be donated.

It wasn't just a kidney. It was his second one. He'd die.

Well, in his own words in another episode, helping others is just a side effect. He likes solving puzzles, and his staff helped with that.

Makes Foreman a bit more favorable especially since he is competent enough to also actually do the job well. It's a win/win.

I doubt Wilson wants the job. He wouldn't swap treating patients for balancing the hospital budget and he isn't power hungry.

@@jamesmoniz5263 The issue is that there was a chance the patient wasn't in his right mind, and that chance was supposedly enough for House to not accept a donation from the guy (small compared to his actual wealth), but it was irrelevant when it was regarding a life-altering and potentially deadly surgery for someone else. Also, autonomy of the donor is one of the most important considerations for organ donation in the first place.

I have spent time lots of time in both communities, and I've also lived in smaller communities where the Haves and the Have Nots cohabitate. Having a victim mentality can be held by anyone with any income bracket but the thing is a victim doesn't go out there and work as hard as they can they complain that what they have and it doesn't matter what they have whatever it is is Never Enough and someone always has more, I've seen kids in huge houses with designer clothes complain that they only got a $40,000 car and not a $60,000 car for their 16th birthday, I've seen poor kids hate on them for having a car at all but I've also seen poor kids who worked and bought their own car be super proud of their rust-bucket, and have no competition with anybody else's Vehicles because they're proud of what they've earned. I've seen kids who were handed everything grow up to be the most useless adults you could possibly meet, even if their parents weren't wealthy, and I've seen wealthy kids whose parents refused to spoil them and expect them to work hard grow up to be amazing people who will do anything for you and who work as hard as they can, and they're not delusional about the fact that if everything goes to hell they've got an amazing back-up plan because Mommy and Daddy are loaded. No one gave me handouts is not a bitter and entitled statement, and it is definitely not the sentiment that someone who has had everything handed to them on a silver platter feels. 😂😂 Maybe if you played less video games and didn't just squawk down your Echo chamber of nonsense you would understand all the nuances of humanity, maybe if you had first-hand experience with abject poverty and outrageous wealth you would see that people act like people no matter where they are and that being bitter and entitled is the sentiment of a victim, the character this actresses portraying is anything but a victim she's driven and she's hard-working and she takes ownership of where this came from,,, look at the basics in this the girl who had to work harder takes the situation very serious she is dressed the part, the girl who had everything handed to her looks like she's going for lunch with the girls because it doesn't really matter to her whether she keeps this or loses this she didn't put a lot of effort into getting it this job and her education are more of a status symbol than a passion, and a way to ensure that she never has to fall into poverty. Later, Park attempts to refute 13's assertion of whipples using the answer that convinced her, but 13 was able to defend against that argument. So I have no clue what you're talking about. They demonstrated that he changed his mind based on their arguments. Park simply didn't know quite as much as 13, or wasn't confident enough to say it if she did.
