Takes a lot of time to train to the level of capability that your average NATO soldier has and the instructors training them has no experience in at the front. Also, when they are sent to the front, they are expected to use Russian-based assets and not NATO. They trained using NATO-issued weapons only to ended up using Russian one at the front. That’s my understanding of the situation so far.

On Lost Armour (all claims are video verified and geolocated) they lost 184 vehicles, not many tanks, but mostly IFV, APC and armoured cars. Also several important MLRS and AD systems.

Interesting. Russia as in the past seems to slowly crawl back to the top over a long period of time. A genuine effort towards a negotiated settlement is now required much more than anytime before. The west at this time seems not to be interested, maybe Turkey or any other regional power could step in?
