I have a Mid 60’s Kingston 25” scale that belonged to my uncle and it is very playable. It’s great for small space jam sessions

Nice review and great mods. Really enjoy your videos as well as the Lobster. I own this bass, same color (it rocks!) Changed out the pickups for higher output: Artec Split Jazz Bass Noiseless Alnico 5 Pickup Set 11k / 13k ! Much more reasonable in price and significantly kicked up the tone. Removed the white pick guard: love the look even more now! and I am installing a preamp. Can't wait to make a vid with the mods. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

I've seen Custom Shop Fenders where the control plate doesn't line up with the pickguard, so this is authentic :)

I really like those Relentless pickups, it sounds like a thinner humbucker rather than like a true jazz bass.
