How could they NOT KNOW about Nick & Charlie? First of all Imogen was able to know by the fact of how OBVIOUS it was. Like here’s the thing Charlie wears Nick’s sweaters,they tend to be more CLOSE,the way how they LOOK AT EACH OTHER,literally during sports day Nick STOPPED PLAYING TO RUN TO CHARLIE & GRABBED HIS HAND. You don’t usually do that with just a friend

@@oneish7454Yes! And as a bi girl myself, it’s just not the way the world spins! You can have intense, rewarding same-sex friendships, and they very rarely turn into romances because MOST PEOPLE ARE STRAIGHT. I’ve pined over many a girl and moved past it, because it’s super-unrealistic and simple wish fulfillment to expect everyone to be queer. More importantly, we need to model healthy and robust allyships (like Tao and Charlie) to fully normalize the community and remove the assumption that people associating with out queer individuals is somehow portentous.

@@oneish7454 I agree. I rolled my eyes when I saw that scene at the end of Imogen looking up at Sahar playing guitar on stage and grinning. I knew the show was setting up a romance and I was not into it. It would be boring just to tack on another couple on top of the many the show already has. It would be more interesting if they start dating because Imogen thinks she is bi and then she quickly realizes she is fully straight and has to break up with Sahar and break her heart. It would be sad for Sahar but a more interesting story. Maybe that is what’s going to happen. Who knows. 🤷🏽‍♀️ time will tell.

I also come to realize that when the kid dared Charlie to kiss Ben you could see how much people & Charlie IMMEDIATELY DISAGREED on that because it’s either because Imogen is now Ben’s ex & it would definitely be awkward for her ex to be kissing someone else after they broke up. And if Ben were to kiss Charlie,it would LITERALLY BE THE FIRST TIME after when Ben tried to assault Charlie by forcefully kissing him. Does Charlie’s friends know about Ben & Charlie’s past/history together and how Ben used Charlie as a human pet? Because I’m pretty they would question on why Ben is so obsessed with Charlie. The way how Nick & Charlie both looked uncomfortable when the kid dared him to kiss Ben,you could see how Nick & Charlie both wouldn’t want Ben to kiss Charlie after everything.

honestly loved his character, a great addition to the show. Was hoping he'd be made part of the gang but I see him being more of Isaac's support system next season and that's sweet too.

I love that Nick is so secure in his and Charlie’s relationship, as well as Tao and Charlie’s friendship, that he only felt happiness and humour when Tao and Charlie kissed. ❤

At 2:08 you just know Nick's heartbeat shot up fast, as he was preparing for this moment. You can just feel it. Poor lad. People think there has to be a glorified way of coming out to people. There isn't. Life isn't a Disney film. And this scene shows just that. Nick finally coming out, but not in the way he would have preferred.

Nick wanted to come out the whole time but it was hard for him. While it was absolutely not cool that the girl asked Charlie that question, there were enough people in the room that would've prevented Nick being outed against his will, had he not been ready. But he was ready (his behaviour beforehand, like when he was asked about the hickey on the Eiffel Tower, shows that). He was just looking for the right moment and I think this was the right moment for him. Nick coming out to his father was the moment where he didn't get to come out the way he wanted to because David would've outed him had Nick not spoken up himself.

In my experience, these are the perfect moments to come out. You don't want to force it, and you don't want to do it in front of a big group or anything, but you also want to get it out there without having to come out to everyone one by one. Coming out to a group of friends, both inner circle and extras, is so relieving. I've done plenty of naturally occuring coming outs, and it's like the stars aligning to finally let you be yourself. One of my favourite coming outs was during the intro week at my uni. A little bit of context: you get assigned to a do-group at the start of the week, and you hang out with them during the entire intro. At the end of the week, we were very close, since we did so much crazy stuff together. At one point, we were all just chilling on a grass field, and one of the girls of the group came up to me. She told me there's a girl who has a crush on me, and she wanted to know if I'd potentially be interested. Everyone overheard and was hyping it up, and I was just flabberghasted since it's the first time I'd heard of anyone having a crush on me. I just answered "I'm sorry, that's not gonna work. Not anything against her, but I'm not into women". The reactions were hilarious, they had no clue I swung that way. But in the end, it wasn't a big deal, and the word spread around decently fast that I'm gay.

I love how all of their frineds immediately start defending Nicks privacy. But its that tension, seeing charlies discomfort and his friends thrown in the mix, fighting for him, that gives him the push to own it. And the looks on Elle, Tao, tara, darcy, imogen and even James when Nick makes that move, its everything

Season 2 was just 100% superb - well done to everyone who was involved. This is worth Netflix subscription so please Netflix, we know Season 3 is guaranteed - come on, we need a Season 4 as well. This show needs the same amount of seasons as The Crown has got.

I appreciate the kiss between Tao and Charlie. I think its good to show that as it represents how a straight guy kissing a guy doesn’t detract from ones straightness. Its just a game and it doesn’t have to mean anything.

Because Ben already used Charlie enough for kissing already,they do not need to kiss after all that has happened between them. 1:27 What kind of look did Ben do? When he realizes that Charlie got dared to kiss him and then looks at Charlie. What kind of look did Ben give Charlie before he left? If you were to look closely when Ben was leaving, you could see Ben bumped Nick with his leg on purpose when he was walking by him. Probably because Ben blames Nick for taking Charlie away from him and he's obviously jealous that Nick now has Charlie and is the one dating him.

I think the reason why the kid dared Charlie to kiss Ben was because back when Imogen was breaking up with Ben during dinner of the first Paris trip there, even though everything did seem good the fact that Imogen was finally breaking up with Ben & called out his obsession with Charlie (Since she already knows that Charlie is taken by Nick & is Nick's man), it did make EVERYONE KNOW that Ben has a THING (UNHEALTHY CREEPY Obsession) with Charlie. So why not dare Charlie to kiss the person who was obsessed with him? (BAD Idea) Even though everyone (but Nick,Charlie & Ben) didn't know about Charlie's past history with Ben, it's still a bad idea for Ben to kiss Charlie after everything especially doing it in front of Imogen who is now Ben's ex. Ben might have been Charlie's first kiss but when Nick kissed Charlie that was Charlie's first kiss with CONSENT. The difference with Ben & Nick: Ben was more forceful & usually puts his hand on Charlie's face just to kiss him when they meet up. Ben was more aggressive,creepy,bit violent & acted like a dick. Nick is more caring,respectful,kind/nice,patient & a lot of stuff that makes him a great boyfriend to Charlie. And whenever Charlie & Nick kiss,they would do it during their moments together & sometimes asks. What do you think would happen if Ben did go through with the dare instead of him leaving even though Nick & Charlie obviously don't want to?

Well, there wouldn't have been any chance of Ben following through on the dare. He isn't secure in his sexuality the way Tao is. Ben's internalized homophobia would've immediately jumped to paranoia of everyone thinking he isn't straight. As if him almost stalking Charlie for half the Paris trip and that very vocal breakup from Imogen weren't flashing neon signs... But, assuming he pushed through all that for just a second in an effort to shut that down, Charlie would've shut that down hella fast with Nick as backup and the rest of the gang once they caught wind of the bad vibe. Boy would've quickly found out that being openly queer (whatever his sexuality actually is) is loads better than being known as an abuser who's willing to SA someone to get what he wants.

Sorry to disappoint, but makeup. It’s the only way to make it consistent from scene to scene. Exterior scenes were filmed in Paris and hotel scenes were filmed in England. Too much time elapsed to make a genuine bruise look consistent between locations.

I have questions about the dares etc in the game. We saw the responses but we did not hear the dares/questions. (Were the questions in the graphic novels?) 1. What did they dare Tara to chug? (Did not look exactly like milk or vodka -- so what was it?) 2. What was Tao asked that he refused to answer because it was 'personal information."? 3. What was the question that Sahar answered by saying that after Imogen got a boyfriend, she had stopped texting Sahar. ? 4. What was the question that led to Tao kissing Charlie?

Alice announced last week she is currently writing the TV adaptation of the scripts for season three, so give her time. I think we won't have production start until early 2024, and maybe a late summer or early autumn 2024 launch judging from what I have been hearing from See Saw Productions who make the show for Netflix.
