@@recapkingofficial I just think the original Dexter was soooooo good and well written that it was impossible for this one to touch it. It's not so much that this one was bad. It's more about paying homage to the initial series by just leaving it be. However, I understand that this is where Hollywood is, at the moment. Sequels for EVERYTHING!!!!!! LOL

@@brianwilkinson356I thought the show got repetitive after a while. Like how many serial killers are going to exist in Miami? How is it he keeps getting away by the skin of his teeth? It just seemed way too convenient. I did like how he got the one lady pregnant and ended up with that one gorgeous lady. I didn't like how his sister chose him instead of justice, and she killed their innocent boss - that was against her character, i think. He had hurt so many people But i must admit that the show reminds me of my ex wife. We watched the entire thing together. I don't miss her, at least not who she is now - it's nothing but annoying being around her, but i can't help but be sentimental. And this was one of the big shows we watched all of together in our house before we had our daughter.

So what is this a spin off of Dexter? Has anything to do with Dexter? I’m guessing, I never really watched the show maybe an episode or two! Have seen the recap for Dexter, that’s why I thought this was it but none of this is familiar… Edit: Never mind I went back to the beginning, but answered my question! But 10:06 it says he see his wife yelling at him, hoping he would get caught.. isn’t that his sister! I’m not judging one of the funniest people I know was into his sister, Some people might even know who I’m talking about, Joe Dirt!? 14:27 “ imagine his late wife”.. I still swear it was his sister!?

The moral of the story is not that. The morale of the story is that even though you kill people who kill people on the regular, don't go back to doing it and keep your head down. Also, dexter could have just taken Matt in for the killing of the deer instead of having the dark passenger take over again. Plus when the fuck did Bautista know that dexter was the BHB?

In the series finale, "Sins of the Father", Batista is contacted by Bishop, who suspects Dexter of being the Bay Harbor Butcher, and sends him a picture of her and Morgan together dated a month prior. Batista realizes that Dexter is alive and heads to Iron Lake with LaGuerta's old files on the Butcher case. However, his arrival in the town is never shown, as the show ends before he gets there.

@@recapkingofficial Well, if you're asking me.., I'll tell you. The summary is good. The problem is the moral ambiguity of the story, which lies at the heart of it. It's difficult to decide whether you wish to know the reasons for all of the killings, whether, in fact, in the end, all of the murders can be justified. The ideas behind the story demand a closer reading, which means seeing the film in its entirety must occur. The most intriguing and remarkable aspect of the story is the seamlessness by which the deliberate murder of many people is justified by necessity. It's as if any opinions about the morality of the number of murders taking place for killing the ones that got away are being left on hold. I don't know if any of this makes sense. Just so you know, these comments may deserve an edit sooner rather than later upon seeing the film in full. This is all for now. (What's the name of the film?)
