This moment absolutely made Whitney the princess, even though she just wanted to be everyday people, she was the princess, still, that grew to be a queen. This is one time where I saw Cissy truly happy. I know in her other photos, she always wear a nice smile, but this time you could just see the joy radiating through her. A very healing moment. My reason is Whitney was very unique, and it was in her genes, she came from good stock, and coming from a family of musicians, she was born with that voice, she didn't need lots of voice training. I loved Whitney Houston and am so sad that she died, especially in the way that she did. She had an amazing talent from God and was and will always be the voice. However, Whitney made her choices good and bad. Bobby cannot be blamed. Do I think their union was a good thing, hell no but Whitney played the ultimate part in her demise. I think Wendy was neither obsessed nor crazy. It was a radio stunt! years ago, great radio stunts were all the rage and what top stations did to garner ratings and publicity. Today, 10 or 11 station are owned by one company in one market. And so they don't need to go through such lengths for ratings, etc...
I mean I was watching the beautiful wedding pictures, enjoying them, and up pops WW face. I was like wtf is her picture doing here, and as usual trying to spy out, something, to gossip about. Always been jealous of Whitney probably from way back when Whitney started modeling. Always tried to put stumbling blocks in Whitney's way, with her malicious gossip, always wanted to either be her, or just take the spotlight away from her. She was the same way with Mariah, and Beyonce. If Whitney didn't have her on the wedding list, she had no right, hoovering overhead, flying like the wicked witch of the east.✌🏽

I think that Whitney was wrong how she started out knowing that she had relations with Robyn. The way it sounded Bobby didn't find out until after being married to her. Like he said he never knew she use coke until the day of the wedding. . He was 23 when he married Whitney and she was 29. Basically Whitney married a young man that needed guidance himself and tough love. Her brother turned her onto coke and she get with a wild young man that use hard drugs too. Doomed

@@taylor5973 I agree. Maybe he didn't introduce her to drugs but that relationship destroyed her reputation. Pre-Bobby Whitney was seen as a classy beautiful lady. After that, she became tabloid fodder. They made her a punchline. It was so sad and made me legit depressed.
I disagree, they loved each other and created a beautiful daughter together out of LOVE!...we ALL make mistakes, most of us are learning as we experience life...she was raised as a Christian to marry before u have kids so she did what she believed to be the right thing...its really none of our buisness 💅🏽🙏🏼💜

I don't think she set out to date trifling men. The signs were there but she chose to ignore them. Eddie never claimed whitney in public, he stood her up when she cooked a romantic meal for him , he often teased her about her hair and clothes, told his friend to tell her he was busy and not to let her in when she surprised him at his house on his birthday. How obvious could Eddie be??? he wasn't into her but she kept on going back to him. Bobby was suppose to be a side dude. Then she married him.

Some left, returned and left again, myself included. But, to be clear, I don't have to embellish stories. For the record, I've always tried to treat celebrities like real ppl and they in turn, respond. I remember Pat Houston telling a reporter that someone who said they we're, was never alone with Whitney. I was. I asked her to come with with me at the piano. She did! Before that, the two of us sat at the bar, talking. There were others around but only Whitney and I at that bar. Everyone isn't a liar...
For you to say Marvin didn't give Whitney and Bobby enough counseling is ridiculous. We don't know how much time he spent counseling them. Then you say if he did he shouldn't have married them. Obviously he believed they were right for each other. Their marriage lasted 14yrs. Albeit tumultuous but thts not all of Bobby's fault. Whitney wasn't perfect by a longshot.
I was a month old when Whitney & Bobby got married. I miss them together. Whitney Houston's wedding dress so pretty like my gosh. My mom was in her teens after giving birth to me when Whitney & Bobby married . I can tell the wedding look so gorgeous I wonder if Whitney's wedding dress in the museum ?
I believed Whitney loved Bobby. However Whitney was a trainwreck waiting to happen, no matter who married her! All the knew of Whitney drug use. Bobby didn't know until the wedding day. I am glad we all know the truth about that part of their life. Whitney drug use is why Eddie, who took no drugs or liquor and Jermain Jackson felt the same even though he was married. They knew Whitney was in big trouble and they wanted no parts of it especially, when the truth came out! I'm still that nobody could help her because, she was a big star!
I think the right man could have gotten her off drugs. She was determined to make her marriage work by pleasing her husband. If she had a husband who told her stop this crap or I'm leaving you which was her worse fear I believe she woulda cleaned up, instead she had a husband who continued to use drugs with her. Unfortunately he was an enabler.
@@Thegazelle1000 she manage to hide her drug habit from Eddie and jermaine, but was v open with Bobby who didn't seem to mind. Whit said one of the reasons she loved Bobby is because he allowed her be herself, unfortunately thats not necessary a good thing.
@@Msk-wb1yg yes it is true. Bobby was doing drug and smoke too, He wrote in his book that she didn't judge him so he was himself too with her. they were very comfortable with each other! Bobby didn't smoke around Janet Jackson because she didn't like and so Whitney around Eddie because he didn't like either. Bobby and Whitney need a strong partner to help to fight their demons!

Whitney and Bobby got married because they loved each other and also to prove the haters wrong. They showed that just because they come from 2 different worlds they could make it. Their marriage wasn't perfect but what marriage is? I hate tht folks always try to blame Bobby for Whitney's life. She was a grown woman who could make her own decisions.
His New Edition brothers have said that Whitney & Bobby were more alike than people know. The industry was driving Whitney's "Princess IMAGE". Whitney had a hood side that would show up on film. I loved them both musically but honestly wasn't feeling the marriage. If I knew then what I know today, I would have had a different outlook. 💜💜💜
@@shannonwarren1430 Nippy's princess image is the part ppl tend to forget. Bobby wasn't her downfall, she destroyed her own life but it was easy to blame him bc of his bad boy image. You're absolutely right. She did have a hood side to her but she rarely got to show it bc of the industry. And tht made Bobby look even more like the bad guy.
