as a hardcore ateez fan, i hope you check out their bsides, theyre really soft with amazing vocals. ateez hongjoong and mingi co write all their songs and hongjoong composes most of them, they also have a song called "from" that they wrote, produced composed all by themselves, and it has a music video. theyre SO FUNNY AND KIND AND TALENTED, IM EXCITED TO WATCH YOU GET INTO THEM

I'm a bit late but thank you so much for reacting to Ateez! Each member is an amazing singer/rapper, dancer, and visual with unique personalities that your sure to love! Our fandom is called atiny (Ateez + Destiny) and we always have trouble picking a bias and staying with them since they are all bias wreckers! They do have an amazing storyline (your right it is is pirate themed) that you should definitely look into! During their making of “say my name”, behind the scenes and their own reaction they confirm “Say My Name” is prequel to their “Pirate King” / “Treasure” which is a country-style EDM trap music concept said by hongjoong. “Hala Hala” is also a title song to their 2nd album along with “Say My Name” which is the official title track. Also to mention “Pirate King” is their official debut title song not “Treasure” since they’re both title tracks for their first album that came out around the same week, everyone assumes “treasure” is their debut just because of the teaser of their previewed tracklist; it just happens to be an actual MV instead of a performance MV like “Pirate King”. They have 6 MVs with 2 title tracks for each album but only one is the official title track... Treasure Ep 1 Pirate King (official debut performance MV) Treasure (title MV) Treasure Ep 2 Hala Hala (title performance MV) Say My Name (official title track & MV) Promise (performance street ver. I love that one of their songs is called Treasure and that’s actually my Real name but spelled a with a “z” instead of a “s” and no “e” at the end, Btw San is my bias I don’t even think it’s been a year since their debut but they are doing big things as rookies!
Here is the storyline..please read!! Ateez are named Pirate Kings (Debut MV), and their purpose is to find their Treasure (2nd MV). During this journey, they come across evil and make friends with them making them stray from their path of finding this treasure. In "Say My Name (3rd MV)," they realize they are trapped with this evil (them looking at themselves with the black masks) and start trying to find ways to escape it. "Hala Hala (4th MV)," is their battle in escaping it, in which they finally do so and succeed. After they finally rid themselves of this evil, they decide to take a break and get really comfortable in a utopian island in Wave (5th MV). Although they are happy there and everything is perfect, they soon realize that it is only and "Illusion (6th MV)," and that they are getting nowhere in their journey. (Side note: this reminds me of Greek Mythology and the Sirens Story). Anyways, that's when they see the "Aurora (7th MV)," lights which guides them back to their path on finding their treasure again. Hongjoon, the leader, wrote the song Aurora for us Atiny; therefore it makes sense that we are the Aurora lights and we are the ones guiding Ateez to the right path. And here we are now with our journey. This next comeback is the finale to their Treasure/Pirates series, in which it follows a "Alice in Wonderland" concept with their main Title Track being titled "Wonderland." In the teasers their is a keyhole, that is being metaphorically linked to the same keyhole Alice saw when she came out of Wonderland herself. She saw herself sleeping through that same keyhole, which has Atiny (our fandom) believing that in the Illusion MV, Ateez is waking up from a slumber as well. The reasoning behind this is the whisper "open your eyes" at the end of Illusion MV, thus them waking up from the illusion, following the aurora lights (Aurora MV), and resuming their journey through Wonderland. This is all not confirmed but what makes sense to me so far. :)

You should def do a vid reacting to their live performances bc they have insane stage presence their live stages are never boring even for the same songs. If you do i def recommend throwing in a full live performance of HALA HALA cuz watching that is basically a religion lol
Pirate king (debut song) and HALA HALA you have to check out before you finish with them because they are two of the best songs along with the ones you’ve already done. Their songs have a storyline so Pirate king and Treasure go together then Say my Name and HALA HALA and Illusion and Wave and I think the new one that comes out on the 8th ties everything up if I’m not mistaken

“illusion” & “Wave” are both title tracks of their third album ‘Treasure EP3: One to All’ and even though “Wave” is their official title track.....”ILLUSION” opens up the album (third part of the storyline) where they finally show the ship that leads to the Island, which is where the MV “WAVE” comes in! I’m sure you probably know this is their 3rd comeback and the winning title track is “Wave” even though they revealed “illusion” during their live showcase on M2 youtube channel. Hongjoong says that it’s better to listen from their first album to current one so you can understand the first half of the storyline. *My biases are Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Mingi, Yeosang, SAN - No i haven’t forgot about my boys Yunho, Wooyoung and Jongho but I love & support all members (no bias wrecker).* I think ATEEZ being such goofballs wanted to switch things up by having a voting to make it more interesting & fun. I personally think “illusion” should’ve been official official title track seeing how they start on a ship looking for land which leads them to “Wave” where they finally make it to the island. *Two major reasons why almost everyone loves “Wave” more is because Mingi’s parts when he starts up the chorus saying “Hakuna Matata Ya” on top the amazing visuals.* They’re both great songs but I like “illusion” better!

Thanks for reacting to ATEEZ This October 8 is his comeback, in the KQ Entertainment channel there are the comeback teasers and they are so 🔥🔥(please also react haha, today the last two teaser are up) the concept will be dark, although in the teaser you can see it I recommend the videos: Hala Hala, Promise and Aurora, Aurora was written by Hongjoong (who was the mullet boy) and in the new album Hongjoong wrote and helped in the composition of the song "Sunrise", both rappers (he and Mingi) always help with all the lyrics, apparently you like Mingi (deep voice), it looks very rough but it is the baby more baby that exist hahaha🥺 All the songs of the boys are very good, the style of ATEEZ is SO good, the concepts are very deep and the theories very crazy and dark and thanks💕
