Hello and welcome back Blade Runner Fans. As promised a while back this is the extensive Review of the Blade Runner M2019 Blaster made by Models and Props. You may find links to Micheles Etsy and Ebay Store further below. This Video is not sponsored or paid in any way. All i give here are my personal thoughts and opinions on the Blaster. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer them.
So, the Blaster from Models and Props finally arrived today and i didn't expect it to be SO HEAVY(!) That thing takes up 1.8 kilograms, that is roughly 3.6 pounds. Thank you Michele, this thing is really a Blast.
For half the regular price of a Tomenosuke or a ParagonFX Blaster this has some pros and cons, which i discuss in this video.
The Comparison video with my other Blasters will come soon. The Blaster has slightly other Dimensions than the Tomenosuke Blaster so it doesn't fit into the Amazing Stand made by Neon Nautilus and i knew that beforehand, after all the Blaster Stand is made for the Tomenosuke Blaster.
Michele currently has a Blaster for Sale on ebay. This is in no way sponsored. But if you, like me, live in a European Country this is probably the best way to go and to undergo Customs. Back when i bought my Tomenosuke Blaster i had to pay ~200 Euros in Customs and fees which drove the overall price to ~1400 Euros total.
I can clearly recommend buying a Blaster from Michele, but remember that every blaster is handmade and unique (which makes it even more special in my eyes). Michele even was so nice to include some extra Bullets (i asked for them) so that i can put them on display and even put them in the Blaster at the same time. I'm planning to build a little something in the next few days and weeks, so i know what i will use them for.
Let's convince Michele to make a metal Emanator with light, sound and a nice box just like in the Movie.

@@mathewmoody9676 so he made a new Etsy Store? Or did you purchase it from ebay. Mind that it will take a while but don't get irritated by that. It took over a month till i received mine

@@spikeyfied I found the one I purchased on eBay - Michele puts them up for sale when he has a supply to sell - they go fast, so I was lucky to get one. I also visited his website and you can buy there if you can read Italian.

Great video, I got one based on your review. It truly is awesome. Question, how do you change batteries for the LED?
@spikeyfied
@spikeyfied 6 месяцев назад
Great to hear that. I'm always happy when something i made was helpful for someone else. Which one did you get? Well that depends on what Blaster you are refering to. The Tomenosuke has a clip in magazine where you can change the battery pretty easy it is a 3v flat Battery and not that hard to find and pretty cheap. The ones ones from Models and Props also use batteries, but are a little more complicated. It's not rocket science. With the M2019 you screw of the small screw on the bottom of the magazine but Michele used somewhat different Batteries they're neither AAA nor AA Batteries but it shouldn't be hard to find them, with K's Blaster you screw out the little side screw on the handle, and remove the cap. It has a 9v Block Battery.

@@vico7482 You're Welcome. Did you get one from Michele? If so you might be one of the last people to get one. From what i saw Micheles Etsy Store is down and only his Website remains. I saw a few auctions on his ebay page and i hope he reopens on etsy one day. For now i have the Kit from the RPF that I'm working on right now and hopefully can show off soon in another video.

@@spikeyfiedso what battery is it that is used in the models props blaster? You said it’s not AAA or AA. Do you know what it is ?
@spikeyfied
@spikeyfied 2 месяца назад
@@oconnorb23 It's an N-Type Battery alternatively they run under the Names of Lady Type N Battery, LR1, 4001, or 4901. They are less common than normal AA or AAA Batteries but should be not to complicated to get your hands on. Hope that helps :)

so fucking cool man, thank you for making this, I sent him some emails, I was unsure about the authenticity but your vid was key. all his website is in Italian and I want to get one of these for Christmas shipped to the USA, are the items on his actual website in stock? and do you know if I can pay with a card & get it shipped to the USA ?
@spikeyfied

Thanks for your comment. As far as i know Michele ships worldwide (best way is to contact him via his Etsy Profile) It will be a little close to get it shipped to you until Christmas, mine took almost a month from ordering till i got it, but it was totally worth the wait. Remember that this is a handmade item and if Michele has none in stock it will take a while. As far as i know Michele doesn't have high stocks, since he only produces a blaster every few weeks or so and he puts them up for sale either on etsy or on ebay. Best way to find out is to contact him directly. Since i live in the EU i didn't have to pay customs and my package was relativly safe from being controlled. I don't really know how that is handled in the US, best way is to ask Michele and check your state laws when it comes to customs and prohibited items. And when it comes to payment via card i think etsy offers payment via Paypal and Credit Card.

Hello, ive seen your blaster videos and i wonder where you rate this next to the tomen? I know you say its the best you can get for $500 but is the tomen really better than this one? So far i just see it doesnt have the moving chamber as you fire. Thanks!

Compared to the Tomenosuke this is like a 8/10 while the Tomen stands as a 10/10 when it comes to all the details, precisely machined parts, etc. It surely has flaws like a non rotating cylinder, and sometimes the cylinder gets stuck, that is because it is made by hand and not precisly machine drilled and cnc cut like the Tomen. From what i understand Tomenosuke spend a couple 100k on the machinery alone to produce the Blasters while this is made by a small business (you can not really call it a company). But also it has slight advantages over the Tomen for example the working green LED's and a full metal Body, Cylinder and Barrel and the much cheaper price point. Sadly it appears that Michele went out of business or at least closed down his etsy store, so i'm not sure if you even can get in contact with Michele anymore. By the End of April i will hopefully receive the Pewter Kit made by DaveChaos from the RPF Forum to build it myself. I'll make a video about that as well and do another comparison, this kit just as a reference, costed me 400£, so it will be compared against the Tomenosuke and the Models and Props one.

Thanks! I think i missed the boat on the m2019. It looks perfect in my opinion and it wont require assembly. I too am looking at the dave chaos version but i am hesitant if theres any additional tapping required. I saw a build thread and the guy had to make slight modifications to make it get together properly. Id jump on a tomen if they werent so dark. Im a weathered pkd fan! Thanks for the reply.

Looks like the full metal blaster made by Tip Top workshop, I'm almost 100% certain.. but why put grafite dust on it?
@spikeyfied
@spikeyfied 6 месяцев назад
I don't think it's the tip top workshop one. I own the kit and am currently working on it and it is different in so many ways, the butt of the gun for example is hollow on Micheles version, the Grips from Micheles kit won't fit onto the tip top workshop one, the drum roll magazine is held by a completly different construction. I could imagine that it is a modified Sid kit or Michele used a mix of different kits. And Micheles kit has been available longer than the Tip Top/Andersen Model. Also his Kits are rarely discussed on the RPF or other forums even though he seems to have sold quite a few of them. It was a total coincidence that i even came across his etsy store back in May 2023 and ordered twice from him.
